The Cut Bank School Board voted unanimously to provide a one-time $500 COVID holiday bonus to all school district employees. The action came at a special meeting early Monday morning, Dec. 14.
The board earlier voted at their Dec. 8 meeting to use Coronavirus Relief Fund to issue âhazard payâ to all district employees. An â11th hourâ decision by Gov. Steve Bullock and Montana Budget Director Tom Livers on Dec. 10 negated that action, explained Cut Bank Schools Superintendent Wade Johnson.
Cut Bank Schools will use its School Flexibility Fund to pay for the well-deserved bonus, said Johnson. The bonus will be paid out during the districtâs December payroll.
