This week we hear from Thornhill Primary in Egremont about there adaptation to the 'new normal'.
Here at Thornhill Primary we do everything we can to make learning fun and purposeful. Our small but growing school family aim to meet the needs of every child as they grow. Our youngest students benefit from a range of indoor and outdoor learning opportunities which fully support early development from age two. In the primary years, lessons are focused on key questions for learning. Our curriculum seeks to develop confidence and an understanding of key skills and knowledge. This supports a growing understanding of the world around us and where possible outdoor and off-site opportunities are embraced. These include forest school sessions and embracing our local lakes and fells.
