Dr. Putnam (B.S. University of Iowa; Ph.D. Pennsylvania State University) is professor and chair of Psychology at Bowdoin College. His research interests include the measurement, structure, and origins of child temperament; and how temperament interacts with factors such as culture and parenting to influence adjustment.
