LISBON — The county Career Center is preparing for yet another summer construction project.
Superintendent Chuck Adkins reported this week this will be another project to benefit those in the expanding adult education programs. Then he plans to turn his attention to the needs of the high school students the following year.
Last summer, the CCCTC created new restrooms for the adult education students and remodeled the current lobby for the building. Adkins said they were starting to look at design schematics for the latest improvements.
The latest project will create an entrance and a lobby for the adult education program on the west side of the building, separate from the high school entrance. There would also be the potential to add parking over on that side of the building.
