That have been put on by the fake media. Actually, one television station disproved the fact that i got over a million dollars. They knew it. They still run the ad. We have seen highway 31 in this general election. We dont know who they are. We know they spent a lot of money. And they know it wasnt for me. They have been taken off the air. We have had threats on social media for anyone that would back this campaign. We have been intimidated. Other people have been intimidated, and were tired of it. [. [ cheers and applause ] the fake news again after i had a 11point lead in the general election, i want you to understand this, Washington Post put out this terrible, disgusting article saying i had done something, and i want you to understand something. They said these women, too, had not come forward for nearly 40 years. But they waited until 30 days before this general election to come forward. Now, they have allowed their pictures to be on a political advertisement. And they have gone on National Television arguing their case. After waiting 40 years, during which i served in three public offices in the state, i have run five state campaigns, three county campaigns in this same county, and never once was this mentioned. Never once was this identified, despite numerous investigations. Despite the traditional Inquiry Commission coming to our county and investigating for anything that would be wrong. So they could take me out of office. 30 days, they come forward. That was roy moore last night. Meanwhile, in birmingham, bm bam, about the same time, doug jones was making his closing arguments. Heres what he had to say. We have heard so many people that have decided, well, you know what. Im not going to worry about the fact that roy moore has been do kicked out of office twice. Im not going to worry about the fact he took money from a charity, and you know what. I believe those women in etowah county, but my party is more important. Im going to tell you folks. It is time, and i think were going to see it tomorrow. That the majority of the people of alabama say that it is time that we put our decency, our state, before political party. [ cheers and applause ] i think its time that we say no more to putting people down, that we say no more to treating people as secondclass citizens. We say no more to discriminating against those who are the least fortunate among us. Its just time, folks, that we say no more. And well show you more throughout this first hour this morning of some of the closing ads, comments from some of the top campaign surrogates, and we especially want to hear from you on the washington journal. Special line for alabama voters. Otherwise, lines for republicans, democrats, nments, as unusual. You can start calling in as andrew did in maryland. Line for democrats. Go ahead, andrew. Caller so i just think the democrats are not going to win. The reason why i say that is because this is alabama is known for republicans. Jeff sessions is the worst republican ever, in my view, but they still got him there. And i just think that its a long shot for a democrat to even win alabama. So heres what i say. I think democrats need to gear towards their base, and stop worried about places that we know were not going to be able to take, like alabama is not going to take a democrat. Theyre not. So we just need to move on and go somewhere else. Heres the state of play in alabama. This from the wall street journal this morning, the map of the state showing various different places to keep an eye on tonight, including roy moores base, the republican candidate roy moore, wants high turnout in four northwest counties that gave mr. Trump at least 73 of the vote in 2016. You can see those counties there. Look for africanamerican turnout tonight. Democrat doug jones needs a big turnout from these counties in orange, where africanamerican voters account for 50 of the population. Then theres the pink counties on this map. In 2012, nine counties voted for mitt romney for president and rejected roy moore for the state Supreme Court on the same ballott. A weak showing here could be a bad sign for roy moore. Finally, theres the blue counties highlighted here. Mr. Moore lost these three counties in his september primary when all have higher incomes and College Education rates than the state average. So a map from the wall street journal on where to watch tonight. We want to hear from you this morning on the washington journal. Joe, georgia. For republicans. Joe, is that you . Yes, john. Love cspan, been calling you for 30 years. I know you have, joe. What are your thoughts . Caller i dont know about these accusations 40 years ago, but i do know one thing. I think donald trump is the best president in history. The stock market is hitting new highs every day, and i think this roy moore will carry on the policies of donald trump, and of course, the other guy, obviously, will not. So i think its important that we carry on the policies of trump, which are giving us the best economy in history. My senator david perdue is leading the way to pass his economic agenda, and were very positive. Were making it the encouragement capital of the world, and we would like to invite you and steve to come down because were the encouragement capital of the world. I think its going to be a very interesting race. What do you think about the baggage that so many republicans have said theyre concerned about if roy moore comes to the senate . Caller well, thats definitely a problem, but i think looking at the big picture for the average american, they look at your 401 k , its never done better as it is under trump with the stock market boom. So i would think that nobodys perfect. Were all imperfect, so i would vote for moore even though he does have some baggage, because i think the democrat would give us more government, more taxes, and john, i just dont think we can afford that. But john, you come down to see us, and we would love to welcome you and the encouragement capital of the world. Well probably hear from you in about 30 days. Lester is on the line for alabama voters in tuscaloosa, alabama. Lester a democrat, go ahead. Caller how are you doing, john . John, today is a very important day here in alabama. Voting for doug jones, and i just wish each and everybody in the state of alabama, vote for doug jones, because john, we have an opportunity today to change alabama politics. I mean, for so long, last 40 years, its been controlled by republicans. Ilitieser time for alabama to go to the 21st century by putting doug jones there, and also during the midterm, get a alabama democratic governor, because we definitely need to change the landscape of alabama. Where do you think this race stands . Just some of the polling thats out there, an automated poll from Emerson College showed moore with a ninepoint advantage, while a poll from fox news showed jones with a tenpoint advantage. A Monmouth University poll showed the race even. Where do you think it is . Caller i have worked real close with doug jones and i can tell you hes real close, but i think we have an edge. Jones has an edge because of the fact, the way he has shifted in the past two weeks. Moore has been in hiding. He got the money from somewhere, and i dont know exactly, but hes been shooting a lot of money out there, but i dont think thats going to catch up because by me looking at whats going on, most in north alabama, hes going to catch holy hell winning the black votes down south alabama. Thats lester in tuscaloosa, alabama. Lester, when do you think youre going to vote today . Caller it will be about 10 00. All right, polls open from 7 00 a. M. To 7 00 p. M. Today in alabama. Were hearing from alabama voters especially this morning, but also phone lines for republicans, democrats, and independents across the nation, as all eyes turn to alabama today to talk about this race. The results will be, of course, tonight, well be talking about them live on cspan2. Our coverage begins at 9 30 eastern. You can also watch it, of course, at cspan. Org, listen to it on the free cspan radio app. Clay is in shepherdstown, West Virginia, line for democrats. Go ahead. Caller good morning. Good morning. Caller first off, i would like to make a comment about the fact that, i still believe this is president obamas economy. Trump, you know, he dropped regulations, which talking about regulations, which i think that does spur the growth for the stock market, but that doesnt help a whole lot of people who dont have money in the stock market. As far as whats going on in alabama, i think this is a huge step for the resistance. For those of us who are trying to right the ship now as we see it under very poor leadership and possibly an illegitimate administration. Lets hope that we can do something in alabama, and the democrats can at least have a very strong showing. And what im most concerned about though, and i called my senator, i called senator manchin about this, was alabama one of the states that had interference during the 2000 election, because there were some states that were directly affected by some hacking in their systems. I just, i couldnt find out if alabama was one of those. Im concerned there might be issues with the ballot count and so forth and so on. Are you confident in going to the ballot in 2018 in West Virginia . Caller yes, i am. I mean, we keep a pretty close eye, and some of our in my county in particular, we still use a paper ballot. In jefferson county, here in the eastern panhandle. I will check on that and keep an eye on that because i think its very important. This is where it really is really important, that we make sure that our ability to put in a vote is secure, and i do not like this i dont like these online, you know, not online but these Digital Systems that do not have an absolute paper trail. Thats clay in West Virginia this morning. Taking your calls throughout this first hour. And well talk about it a little later today as well on the washington journal about this Alabama Senate special election. Happening today. Also, of course, keeping you updated about the other news going on around the country. And yesterday morning, a lot of focus on what appears to have been an attempted terror attack in new york. Heres the front page of the wall street journal. A 27yearold bangladeshi immigrant inspired by the Islamic State internet propaganda set off a pipe bomb strapped to his body as he blended with rush hour commuters on monday morning. The explosive sizzled, burning him and injured three others. Akayed ullah detonated the lowtech device about 7 20 a. M. He was eventually taken into custody. Heres a picture of him in the New York Times today, after he was taken into custody. Age 27, of bangladesh. Came to the United States legally in 2011 on an immigrant visa for relatives of u. S. Citizens. Hes in custody at a hospital, burns from that explosion, in the wake of that incident yesterday in new york, renewed calls against that socalled visa lottery. Heres the story from the Washington Times. The Homeland Security time spokesman yesterday said he was admitted to the United States on a family visa in 2011, tied to a relative who won the diversity lottery. The second time in six weeks someone connected to the lottery has been accused of a terrorist attack in new york, and the white house says its more reason that congress should join President Trumps call to end the lottery and curtail extended family chain migration. Well keep an eye on that story. If theres further developments today. For this first hour of the washington journal, were just getting your thoughts on the Alabama Senate special election today and a special line for alabama voters. 2027488003 is that number. Lines for democrats, republicans, independents, as unusual as well. Kim is a democrat from texas. Good morning. Go ahead. Caller hey. I havent called in a long time. So that means i was listening with both of my ears. Its been since about eight months, but anyway, okay. I just think that we got to lighten it up. Now, im from texas. But all my family is from alabama, louisiana, mississippi. And i know that my kin folk come from that. Anyway, you got to go at this with these people at a bible way. What do you mean by that . Caller you gotta tell them to go to the bible and quit judging people. Because it doesnt matter, they take things very literally. And so they are judging it from the bible standards but theyre not understanding, theyre doing it in a literal sense. And they havent learned not literate. You know what i mean . So in other words, they take it literal instead of mythical. Anyway. So they once they realize that, they do things biblical, but sometimes it becomes literal, its like by the law, by word, not by the save by faith. Thats what you have to understand about alabama people. But thats a delicate thing. But anyway, what i wanted to say was this. I judged donald trump, too, eight months ago. I said it was going to be a disaster. And of course, it is a disaster. But its up to us to break that cycle. So i think we should all just, you know, quit looking at each other. Yes, as horrible as this is, but 12 days, lets just have 12 days of christmas and break the cycle. Theres good news out there. Kim in texas this morning. Melissa is an independent from southwest harbor, maine. Your thoughts from maine this morning. Caller yes. Im calling im very concerned with the direction of our country right now. Many of us in maine are. And it starts in the election in alabama. We have to win that one tonight. Weve got to change the direction this country is going in. Trump is just causing havoc all over the world. The bombing the other day, its because of anger. Everything that is going on is because of the leadership we are under right now. We have got to change that. Weve got to get democrats and independents into the house and right this. Its not going well at all for us here in america right now. Larry, elk grove village, illinois. Im for republicans. Go ahead. Caller good morning. I have a question. Basically for the alabama voters. You know, theres been a lot of people, and im not a big fan of donald trump. I didnt vote for donald trump. I think he was loud, arrogant, rude. But showing my bias, i think that based on the few new yorkers that i know that kind of applies to most new yorkers. So i apologize for the millions i have never met. But my question is, a lot of people have been asking about why the women that have come out with allegations against moore, about why they didnt come out earlier. I dont have that problem. My problem is, when moore was running against Luther Strange, and from what i understand, that was a pretty tight race, why didnt they come out then . Because donald trump actually supported Luther Strange, but they knew beforehand they had these allegations against moore, and they were concerned about morality, why didnt they come out when he was running against Luther Strange . Because then Luther Strange might have won. Im wondering if the dnc or the democrats, they had this information, they knew they had the people that were going to come out with allegations, but they did wait to see if he was going to beat Luther Strange or not . And then they came out because now hes running against the democrat. So i have a question with that issue. Not with why they waited, but why they didnt come out when he was running against another republican. Thats a problem with me. Well, here, we can certainly ask some alabama voters about that, or if they care to answer, they can call in as well. A few comments on twitter about this. One of our viewers this morning saying that they will listen to the voice of the alabama voters on this. So please do call in. There are people around the country who want to hear from you, alabama voters. Bill king on twitter says after getting kicked off the alabama Supreme Court twice for misconduct, how is moore still eligible to run for Public Service . Well keep looking for your tweets this morning. This conversation about this Alabama Senate race bringing out national figures, focusing on alabama. Thats the headline right there of the Washington Post this morning, from those rallies that we showed you a little bit of earlier this show. Doug jones rally, hollywood actresses there, charles barkley, former nba basketball star, was there as well. At roy moores rally last night, there were conservative activists, including stephen bannon, the Breitbart News chairman, Louie Gohmert was there, republican of texas. Former milwaukee sheriff david clark also appearing at that rally. This story in the Washington Times today focusing on the president ial involvement there, both President Trump and former president obama recording robocalls for the senate hopefuls. The Washington Times story noting that president obama, who has largely stayed out of political battles since leaving august in january, weighed in on the race in the last few days. Democrats are hoping his political weight in the party aimed largely at blacks and young voters will push jones over the edge. Quoting obama, doug jones is a fighter for equality for progress. Doug will be our champion for justice so get out and vote, bm bam, is what the former president said. This is what President Trump had to say in his robocall for roy moore. And i need alabama to go vote for roy moore. It is so important. Were already making America Great again. Im going to make america safer and stronger and better than ever before. But we need that seat. We need roy voting for us. Im stopping illegal immigration and crime. We are building a stronger military and protecting the Second Amendment and our prolife values. But if alabama elects liberal Democrat Doug Jones, all of our progress will be stopped cold. We already know Democrat Doug Jones is a puppet of nancy pelosi and chuck schumer, and he will vote with the washington liberals every single time. Democrat jones is soft on crime, weak on immigration, supports abortion. Hes bad for our military and bad for our vets. We dont want him, and he also, by the way, wants higher taxes. Roy moore is the guy we need to pass our make America Great again agenda. Roy is a conservative who will help me steer this country back on track after eight years of the obama disaster. Get out and vote for roy moore. His vote is our republican senate, and its needed. We need roy to help us with the republican senate. We will win and we will make America Great again. Paid for by judge roy moore for u. S. Senate. And heres some of the front pages that alabama voters are waking up to this morning. This is the aniston star finish line. Jones and moore square off in the election. To the front page of the tuscaloosa news. Their front page story, robocalls, bogus news, as race nears, is the headline they went with. The front page of the decatur daily. Absnltee voting increases is the headline. Circuit clerks across the state said they issued more absentee ballots than expected, indicating a high voter turnout in todays special u. S. Senate race. This is, of course, the race to fill the seat of the attorney general after he was appointed to that position. Luther strange was appointed to the role, and this is the special election to fill that seat, and were hearing from alabama voters this morning. Lines for democrats, republicans, and independents as usual. George is in ohio, line for democrats. George, good morning. George, are you with us . Well go to that line for alabama voters. Richard is waiting. Richard is a republican. Go ahead. Caller yes, sir. I will not vote for judge roy moore. You know, where theres smoke, theres fire. Theres Something Else i want to say about trump and congress. Recently, they gave us a big 0. 2 raise in social security, and then they took 86 of that 2 and raised medicare. Ended up with a 4 increase. Or. 014 raise. Its ridiculous. All i can really say is dump trump. Richard, did you vote for donald trump in 2016 as a republican . Caller no, sir. I didnt have a choice in that one. I just had to sit it out. It was picking the best of the worst, and i wouldnt do it. And how many republicans do you think feel like you today in alabama, richard . Caller i hope a lot. I really do. We dont need roy moore. Thats richard this morning. Want to hear from as many alabama voters as we can. Bob is in waldorf, maryland. An independent. Bob. Go ahead. Caller yes, but all my people are from alabama and i can tell you this right now. Today is the day the media and the state of alabama is going to set the media and all you yankees the finger. Today, you had a good time for the last month sitting there putting down, making up all this false stuff about judge roy moore. The one thing that you yankees aint nothing figured out, no alabama voters, people in alabama, are going to let a bunch of new york washington, d. C. Media liberals push them around and tell them what to do. Remember Election Night when donald trump won . Well, thats what youre looking at tonight. Im looking forward to watching you sit there and cry like little babies tonight when judge roy moore becomes senator and comes up to washington, d. C. Tonight, you can all look at it this way. The people of alabama are pulling their pants down and shining you the moon. All right, thats bob in maryland. Well all find out the results together tonight. Our coverage on cspan2 begins at 9 30 eastern. You can also listen to it on cspan. Org, listen to it as well on the cspan radio app. Want to show you, keep you updated on members who are tweeting about this race as well. Amy klobuchar is the senator from minnesota. A democrat. To all friends who have friends who vote in alabama, she said, tweet, text, call, email, and tell them to vote tomorrow for doug jones. Doug jones is a good man, a former prosecutor, a man of integrity, someone who will stand up for the people of alabama. Well look for other tweets from members as well as voting gets under way in about a half hour in alabama. Annette is in alexander city, alabama. A republican. Annette, what are you thinking this morning . Caller well, the guy from illinois said part of what i wanted to say. During the primary, where we had a choice from Luther Strange or roy moore, why would these women be silent . I dont want to hear they can pick and choose when they want to make their 40yearold complaint. At least then the American People alabama could have said, hmm, lets look at this, and we would have a choice. Now, i will gladly vote for roy moore because i am so sick and tired of people, they only want to win the Alabama Senate seat because the democrats want another notch in their belt, to try to stop trump from doing everything he wants. Political democrats up in washington are now, theres 54 women, i believe, want to push to censure or try to get trump to resign because of past sexual alleged sexual allegations. They will never quit. We had eight years of president obama. And nothing against him. But how can the black voters look at their life and see that nothing has changed, even with a black president , the last 24 years of clinton, bush, and obama. We are in a worse mess than we ever were, and it continues. So democrats your thoughts on the other senator from alabama, Richard Shelby . Caller well, hes entitled to his opinion. But i think he should have kept it to himself because he himself is trying to influence in his own way, i guess. He doesnt have to agree with the way i think. But he should keep his opinion as a sitting senator. And not try to influence what is going on. There is Sexual Harassment in every facet in the world, not just america or alabama or washington. And thats for another show. But right now, this election is important because theyre fighting trump every inch of the way, and he needs this senate seat so he can try. If trump doesnt succeed, we are done. Nothing will ever change because nothing has changed. Thats annette in alabama. Heres the other senator from alabama, Richard Shelby, on cnn on sunday. Well, i would rather see the republican win, but i hope that republican would be a writein. I couldnt vote for roy moore. I didnt vote for roy moore. But i wrote in a distinguished republican name, and i think a lot of people could do that. Will they do it, im not sure. I dont know whats going to happen. You know, as a republican, i had to vote republican. I wanted to vote republican. I understand where the president is coming from. I understand we would like to retain that seat in the u. S. Senate. But i tell you what. Theres a time that we call it a tipping point. And i think so many accusations, so many cuts, so many drip, drip, drip. When it got to the 14yearolds story, that was enough for me. I said i cant vote for roy moore. We want to hear your thoughts this morning on the washington journal. Talking about it in our first hour, were going to return to it in our last hour today as well. On this special election day in alabama. Lines for alabama residents, alabama voters, 2027488003. Republicans, democrats, and independents. Tony is here in washington, d. C. A republican. Go ahead. Caller hi. Good morning. I pray to god that roy moore wins the election. You know, media is just making up untrue stories on this guy. You know, and trump is moving this country in the right direction. And there are so many forces that are against him that, you know, just fighting him in every way. But i certainly hope the conservatives win. Now, one thing i do notice is that, you know, what the media will do is use the hurting part of what happened to africanamericans during slavery and use that, and you know, put that in their face and say remember this happened . Remember they done that, remember this, remember that . And you know, a lot of africanamericans are not going forward, but there are a lot that are. How do you see that happening in this Alabama Special Senate election . Caller well, what do i think is going to happen . No, how do you see what you just described in terms of what you see the media doing with africanamerican voters, how have you seen that in this election . Caller theyre negatively, you know, influencing the election. You know, putting negativity in the africanamericans minds as to what happened and what happened here. Whats an example that you have seen . Caller thats a very hurting part for africanamericans. I know it is. But you know, roy moore, if i were a alabamian, i would definitely vote for roy moore. And i voted for donald trump in 2016, and i will vote for him in 2020. All right. Greg is in michigan. Line for democrats. Go ahead. Caller yeah, good morning. And thanks for taking my call, john. Im a firsttime caller. Im amazed that we have 100 people, 100 senators in this country, and we cant get back to bipartisan politics. We have dug up everything that we can, all the way back from, my goodness, i remember dwight eisenhower, and were digging up things on people, the conservatives and the liberals. And possibly some of the independents. To try to discredit them. And you cant work in a marriage or on a job like you have. Im retired. And you cant have one person having it all their way. Its just not the way its meant to be. And bipartisan politics has to come about. I dont believe all of this dirt that they dragged up, they did it on bill clinton, and now theyre doing it on roy moore, and they did it on donald trump. And i am not a donald trump hes not my favorite, if i could have thought of somebody else to win that presidency, it would have been john kasich. But that being said who is the they you say are dragging this up when it comes to these accusations, greg . Caller yeah, they do. I mean who is they . Caller well, whoever finds out about these things. I am not privileged to know who finds out about these things. But they do. And whether its true or not, you have to vote your own conscience, but you cant fall too far without being bipartisan. I mean, it happens no matter what you do. And i would vote for doug jones if i were an alabamian, but i find it real hard to believe that we cant do anything else, and were going to spend they spent 4. 5 million trying to impeach bill clinton, and thats not what our country is about. Were all immigrants, and we all have to have the right thing. But as far as these elections go and digging up all this stuff on roy moore and doug jones dig up moore and doug jones and having to go deep into the well for this stuff, i think its absolutely crazy. Got your point, greg. Lets go back to the Yellow Hammer state, owens crossroads, alabama is with avis is this morning. Good morning. A democrat. Caller i am democrat but i voted republican this time. I think we need to get a law passed that says if you are an adult when an assault happens you cannot be in charge you have got four years. If you dont do it in four years, you cant do it. If its with a child, thats different, yes. But yeah im voting moore. Avis, why a four year statue . Why do you think thats the right caller because i think we get people thats famous or people thats in politics and we run things against them. I think we should have a limit, put a cap on it. If you are an adult when the assault happens, give yourself four or five years i dont want to say four years exactly, but four or five years. If its a child, like i said, its different, it should have lifetime when it happens. But i think we should have a cap on it. Sheila doing rights today in the news analyst piece in the New York Times five misguided reasons people doubt victims of Sexual Misconduct. She brings up this issue of when they come forward and writes in that piece that negative consequences are not the only thing to keep victims from coming forward. Experts point to a more fundamental issue. When the perpetrator is someone that they trust it can take years for victims even to identify what happened to them as a violation. The piece notes that one of the several women who say that charlie rose made unwanted sexual advances while they were working for him told the Washington Post it has taken ten years and a fierce moment of cultural reckoning for me to understand these moments for what they were. If you want to read that piece its in todays New York Times. Staying in alabama. Virginia is in huntsville, alabama, a democrat. Virginia, go ahead. Caller yes, i already voted because i voted with the absentee vote. And i voted for doug jones. And i think that the problem is there are so many women that has im sorry. So many women that have low selfesteem, and they dont understand what it means for a man to come on to them, try to make passes at them. And they accept it. But i was raised that, you know, you dont have to accept anybody violating you. And i believe these women. I believe the women that said that he did that roy moore had violated them. And i believe the women that said donald trump had done it. The women are coming out now. They have been empowered. They are coming out, and they are making it known. There should never be a statute of limitation on a woman being able to come forward [ inaudible ] because of the fact that it takes them years for this to soak into them and to know that they cannot live with this forever. So it probably would take 20 or 30 or 40 years before you can come out with somebody trying to molest you or coming on to you in a negative way. So virginia, you mentioned the donald trump accusers. Three women who have accused President Trump of sexually harassing assaulting them before he came to the white house demanded a congressional investigation after a week in which lawmakers from both parties were forced into resignation amid harassment allegations. This is the story from u. S. A. Today, the picture that goes along with the story showing Rachel Crooks there on the left at that event yesterday. It was a News Conference organized by drav new films. Heres Rachel Crooks talking about her concerns and what she wants congress to do. I shared my story last year because it was relevant. Mr. Trump dismissed his words on the access Hollywood Tape as locker room talk but having been the victim of such actions i knew better. I decided to let my encounter with him be known along with the various others yet our stories seemed to fall on deaf ears. Recently the me too movement has gained momentum leading powerfulmen to suffer the consequences of their action. Trump however has skamd his path unschaited but over a dozen women have come forward about his Sexual Misconduct and we have video proof of him promoting such behavior n. An objective setting without question a person with this record would have entered the graveyard of political aspirations never to return. Yet here we are with that man as president. I want to believe that as americans we can put aside our political inclinations and admit that some things in fact do transcend politics, that we will hold mr. Trump to the same standard as Harvey Weinstein and the other men who were held accountable for their reprehensible behavior. Therefore, i ask that congress put aside their Party Affiliations and investigate mr. Trumps hisry of Sexual Misconduct. Thank you. And yesterday in the White House Briefing room sarah sandersnd spoing to these laters charges and these calls for kopgs investigation. Heres what she had to say. The president has addressed these accusations directly and denied all of these allegations. And this took place long before he was elected to be president. And the people of this country had a decisive election, supported President Trump, and we feel like these allegations have been answered through that process. About 15 minutes left before polls open in alabama. 7 a. M. Central to 7 00 p. M. Central is when polls will be open. Well find out tonight the result of this alabama special election. We are talking about it this morning. Tonight you can watch live on cspan the results, and the speeches from the candidates starting at 9 30 on cspan2, you can also listen to it at cspan. Org, and on the cspan app. Special line for alabamians, doris. Caller good morning. Doris, good morning, just talk through your phone. Caller yes, i do believe everything about trump and about moore. And if we voters you voters of republicans can overlook what donald trump has done all the time he was campaigning he was talking about women. He was insulting people.
