Tracks and Current Events and things are happening. We know it right now oversees the troops are massing at the border of gaza announcement has been given to the residents that they have got a very short period of time to evacuate. Things are escalating too. Absolutely pick. What does america need to be doing right now . Rick scott thank you for what you just said. Hear what he just said though. They have time on the other side of theer border to leave. The israelis are jewish brothers and sisters did not have that same luxury. They were not given time. The attack was instance. It was a deadly. It was uncalled for. An undeniably it was evil. [applause] evil. I am a big fan of psalms 122 six it says pray for the peace of jerusalem and those who do will prosper. I am also a fan of romans 13 for the talks about the wrath of god. I hope hamas is wiped off the face of the earth. [applause] and scott, i met last week three or four days ago with the ambassador from israel. He said a proportional response is to wipe them off the face of the earth. I like that response number two they have the resources, the weaponry and that man power they called up three to 60000 reservists. They have what they need because we have been investing in them for more than 10 years about 35 billion. Theio irony though the sophisticated Missile Defense system. What we need to do is make sure there is not daylight between United States of america and israel. The second thing we need to do is step our president to stop making deals with the iranians to be 6 billion for hostage negotiations. When you know the biggest funder of hamas is ironic. Money is m fungible. That means once you have it you do whatever you wantos with it. I know the administration has been calling me out saying im dead wrong. But here is the truth. When hamas says thank you for the money. Thats all i need to know. That makes this administration complicit. N complicit. You cannot pay the money. Frankly, it only raises the price of an American Life abroad. Do not create a market for american hostages. When you pay it, you create it. I said this years ago under president obama when he paid 400 million to rescue hostages. It was wrong then. Now 6 billion puts every American Life abroad at risk. Yall, i am a southern boy. My mom wanted a preacher. I have to get up and walk around a little bit. This is a fireside chat on the move. This is a fire chat. Im coming, im coming. The man has manners, im going to be standing up and sitting down. You were just talking dollars for a minute. That is obviously an issue that we are watching very closely with developments that are changing by the house. Domestic, economy, inflation continues to rise. Devastating. Rates look like they are going to stay leveled for a little while. Yes. There are so many mixed messages in the economy and within those messages there are people who are struggling. President scott is in charge right now. What are you doing with the economy,y, what are you doing . The first thing we do is stop spending money we do not have, buying things we cannot afford who impress a world that aint impressed. Number 1, 33 trillion of set over the last years makes our current interest only payment 5,772,000,000,000, not touching the principal, interest only. Government people dont create jobs. Jobs are created in the private sector. [applause] i have created jobs only in the private sector. I started small business, i started an insurance business. I started a real estate company. I started a januarytory cleaning company. I hear you back there, scott. I hear you. [laughter] but if we are going to rebuild our economy i have a plan called build not borrow. Weve borrowed too much money from china. Devastating our nation and certainly devastating South Carolina and the deep south where we lost mill after mill after mill. If we were to rebuild the economy, my plan creates 10 million now jobs in 3 specific areas, the first unleash all of Americas Energy assets. Lets not be Energy Independent be energy dominance. It needs to come down a little bit more. We brought i wrote the tax cuts and jobs act. Within of the three people in the United States senate who actually wrote the bill. The former president signed it, i wrote it, we took the Corporate Tax from 35 to 21. We gave a 20 haircut so to speak. Rereduced every bracket on the personal side. We saw unemployment rates, 70year low for women and we didnt tell anybody by the way. The Great Opportunity Party delivered the greatest most inclusive economy in the history of the economy and 2. 3 this will dollar tax cuts. We would have to reduce taxes on the correspondent side and business side so we would bring back those factories back to america so that we can compete against china by having supply chain resiliency. That means wee must learn to depend on our western alliances not on people who want to eliminate us. I call that common sense. [applause] 10 million jobs, grows your economy at 5 which adds trillions to your economy, billions to the treasury and reducesnd inflation, inflation s so high because biden on his first act passed a 1. 9 trillion covid relief package and the only thing missing was covid relief. 1. 7 trillion went to the progressive radical lefts priorities sending checks in the mail. Se that created over the two years 16 of inflation and as leading republican on the Banking Committee talking with jay powell he said he had to put downward pressure, 11 rate increases. 550 basis points so now the mortgage is 7. 5 instead of 3 where it was two years ago. Your gas, 40 higher, your electricity, 20 higher, your food, 20 higher for a kid who grew up in a singleparent household 40 increasing for my momma is called a crisis. 85 of American Families today say theyre struggling and they are putting off Financial Decisions because of this economy that is stripped them of over 7,000 of spending power. Interest rate will go down because inflation goes down. You senator, you mentioned your mom a second ago. Yes, sir. Obviously a lot of your fire, your perspective, your ideas for the future comes really from your upbringing. I think its a really core important piece of who you are, do you mind sharing. By the way i brought my mother today. The power base inor this family, nice to meet you. Went right to her. His momma didnt raise no dumb babies, no doubt. I think it informed your policy and politics so deeply. Thank you so much, scott. So many people on the left, its like a cancer growing, on the right theres a little drug called victimhood that is devastating our country. It comes with narcotic of despair. People whether actually believe that grievance is our way forward and i know that greatness is our only path to remain the city on the hill. [applause] so i was raised by a single mother in poverty in a small inner city in South Carolina. I didnt know if the American Dream would work for a kid like me and my mother always taught me to shoot for the moon and even if you miss youll be among the stars. She was an optimistic. What an optimist. I will concede, however, when i almost failed out of high school. Her optimism turned into a different type of encouragement. I know that we are not in the deep south. A s switch, southern apparatus f encouragement. I will leave it there. [laughter] but my mom worked 16 hour days as a nurses aid which means all she did for 16 hours was to change bedpans and to roll patients for slightly more than minimum wage but she believed if she could do it herself it was her responsibility to not ask for help if you can do it yourself. [applause] if you have seen one of my tv commercials it says if youre abled body in america, you work. My mom taught me that. She also taught me, if you take out a a loan, you pay it back. Now, she said, boy, con descending by the way, boy, if you commit a violent crime, you go to jail. That makes common sense and the speaker before me only reinforces his last point which i consider common sense american values. If god made you a man, you play sports against men. These are the kind of values i grew up with. [applause] my mother taught me that you could be a victim or you could be victorious. My grand father born in the jim you south, segregated south in 1921, my parents divorced, we moved in withar him, he said, yu have a choice, you can get bitter or you can get better. And that was the man without any formal education. His ended in the third grade. If you have faith in god, faith in yourself and faith in what america will one day be all things are possible. Why we have people today who dont believe what he knew 50 years ago. It stuns me. All the nonsense about division and discrimination. Im not here pretending theres no racism and discrimination in america. Im just here telling you that america is snot a racist country. We have made so much progress radical left wants to use race and power, race and class to hold onto their power and theyll use any group of people, any individual to hold their political power even at the expense of the american people. You look at johnsons great society, it devastated poor families and particularly black families because it required the husband and the, father to leave the house for the check to come in the mail. You can now measure that devastation and unemployment in crime and fatherlessness. Its almost like they want a valueless and its spreading all across the country. My mother taught me that the harder you work, the luckier you get and you better thank god almighty you were born in the yright country because you arent all that and you need a bag of chips. [laughter] thats what im sticking with. Lever it to momma for speaking truth. Amen. I heard it in the halls when people were meeting you, you have the reputation and folks on tv networks, do you get sick and tired of being called the nice guy . I do. Because youre a nice guy. I dont mean to insult you. I am a nice guy. Im an optimist. Im an optimist because i grew up in tough neighborhoods. For me being an optimist being that i understand the pain and the misery of failure. Optimism keeps you going when everything around you seems to be going in the wrong direction. When i was growing up, some of my good friends, they were shot, murdered, incarcerated. If youre not optimistic and if you dont belief that america will afford you an opportunity that is beyond your circumstances,yo sometimes you quit and so i always laughed at the people who say, youre a nice guy, thats it. The metal forged under fire you dont see that on a debate stage when people are having a food fight and you dont see that when things are going well, if you want to see real metal find an optimist who has gown through the fire and the purging process makes you appreciate being an american citizen because i know this story doesnt happen almost anywhere else in the world. You cant start out of the proverbial wrong side of the track. Almost fail out of school, watch your friends devastated and have a mother who says, i brought you in this world, i can take you out. When you have that kind of upbringing, you become optimistic. [laughter] real fast. It changes everything. America needs clear powerful strong powerful leadership that believes in the future more than they due the Rearview Mirror of the past. If we continue to be a bunch of victims like the left ones us to be and a few on the right, we will miss it. We are not a nation in decline. Under President Biden we are a nation retreating from our values, from personal responsibility. From hard work, all we have to do is go from president carter to president reagan and the lights come back on. I believe its possible again. I know that we have about a minute left so in summation, were in the fourth quarter, final stretch, this is when all eyes are really going to be on New Hampshire. The activity is boosting, this weekend is perfect example of it. Ke im interested in what you think leaning into the optimism, whats the conversation goingtho lack like the day after the New Hampshire president ial primary in 2024 . I lovee that. Senator scott s pulls off a big victoryg in New Hampshire. [applause] [laughter] im just telling you. We have found our candidate. Hes tall, hes dark and he is bald. [laughter] we want more of tim scott from sea to shining sea that americas best days are ahead of her. Ah we will deliver with your help, with your help. May god continue to bless the United States of america as we stand shoulder to shoulder with our allies because we are loyal to our allies but we are lethal to our adversaries. It is time for us to regain the high ground. I want to lead us there. Godd. Bless you. Senator, thank you so much, appreciate it. And now please welcome ryan binkley. [applause]
