The president was really smart on the day after the election he said today wasnt the day to fight stop coming today is the day the fight is beginning. He understood that so he said put your foot on the gas pedal on his first day after he won he said lets start working for 2020. We been building out a campaign longer than anyone in the history and its allowed us to revolutionize. Thank you. I actually think, im sorry matt we are just taking over. My job is to be a potted plant. I love the analogy that brad always gives. Its always good to compare and contrast we are today in 2020 because we are in it, its an election year, this is happening. Versus where we were in 2016. He is the best analogy, wait for. In 2016 i always say we were a plane fly and built in real time. Some days we didnt have windows of some days we didnt even have pilots. A lot of days we didnt have pilots. We didnt notice any of that. We were laying on the floors. ab interesting statistics, where are the ladies in the room today by the way . [cheering] wait a minute. I dont get it guys, i thought you didnt support donald trump because youre a woman . Thats the most ridiculous thing youve ever heard. Let me tell you a great statistic, this is what you need to know, there are a lot of polls out there, in 2016 the donations we got into the Trump Campaign 25 came from women. Better news than ever because 2019 and 20 2050 percent are coming from the ladies. You tell me about the polling out there we got the women. Let me ask you one question, i think you guys say this all the time who would brad and laura like to run against in the general election . Does it matter which extreme democrat gets picked or are you ready for any one of them . First rebuilt the system thats ready for our boss, the president of the united states. Secondly we built it abdoes the math change get some of them . Yes. I think theres math that could expand well past 30 states. You can choose to that. These people will be responsible for some of that change. Please come of this next week will be launching army for trump www. Armyfortrump. Com. Its time to get out there and start knocking on doors making phone calls. Its time to become digital activist and fight because they are going to cheat. They will, trust me, i saw the cheating in 2016, 2018, 2019 there in a wake up in 2020 and say lets play fair now. They havent been playing fair along the way, we seen what they tried to do this president. They forget he grew up in queens and hes a fighter every day they fight him he fights back twice as hard and its working for the american people. I would say a [cheering] all the women sharing. I wouldnt be surprised wake up and over half are volunteers and november 4 are ablet me give you numbers to make you feel really good about what we are building. I think these numbers surprised. In 2016 we had about 600,000 volunteers, trained volunteers. We will have 2 million trained volunteers for 2020. Were already past half a million. What means we already cut the 2016 numbers and we dont even have the candidates running. We had 3020 16. We are on pace for 90,020 20. [applause] on top of that, we were about six seven states longer and we are in 17 states and increase doubled our budget across the country. We are fighting this. Me give you a great thing about expanding the outcome of their several states we did win, new hampshire, minnesota, nevada, new mexico, if you look at this new mexico minnesota are abwe sent them to colorado thinking they were going to win it. This time were talking about tens of millions more staff on the ground if you look at whats happening with latinos across the country theyre coming in huge numbers, now new mexico is in play. Let me just try to weave this together a little bit. Romney was on the ground all day yesterday the drc was in training. We expanded c pack. The first day of c pack was training because we dont just want to talk at you want to Work Together with you to learn so we can all go home be better activist including online activists. We already got one cpac in minnesota and will do another cpac in minnesota. We had cpac west in nevada. Ordinary back in nevada for another cpac west because everybody has a role to play to take back this country to make a great. As they continue to move toward Big Government socialist policies they all raised their hand to get free healthcare to Illegal Immigrants as they continue to say they want to take away private insurance to create Big Government socialized medicine that would fail under the kind of things coming toward this country in the future and they continue to run toward that you will see new states come into play. This crazy progressive wave running toward the small dollar fundraising will not work across america especially fiber countries. The president said america will never be a socialist country. Our theme as you all know for cpac 2020 is america versus socialism. For laura with your father and family you are new to politics this wasnt your bag which is one of the things i think people like about you he saw america under the eight years of obama and saw a get broken down. My fatherinlaw was probably like so many of us in this room was frustrated about what he saw happening in this country. I dont know if anybody understands or remembers the shrimp on the treadmill. A ridiculous waste of our money instead of revitalizing and rebuilding military and making sure things were working for people in this country, trade was working for us, people had jobs, there was prosperity, he got so frustrated like he just said i think im the only person that can do this job because dont forget donald trump didnt need this job. He doesnt need washington dc, he doesnt need any special interests groups, hes not playing their games. Thats why they fight him so hard every day. They know hes taking it to them every day. But for all of us we were all brandnew to politics. It will come as a shock if you saw our campaign in 2016 it was very grassroots. It did window. Whats that . It did window. I wouldnt change it for anything in the world but now the good news is as we are in 2020, the president said it in 2016, would he have to lose by voting for me . Now guys, we have everything to lose and thats why the selection is so so important. Apt to say, there was the what he have to lose . Which i think he just thought of one day and said it, i could be wrong. Off the cuff. The other thing is the idea you could get tired of winning because. Is anybody in here tired of winning . Im not tired of winning but im exhausted because the pace is unbelievable and the pace you all are keeping. 249 days ago, come on man. [laughter] you can do it. I think the other thing about your fatherinlaw which i think people would love to hear. There is this constant trail that hes a mad king storming around yelling at everybody, trying to use the law to get back at his enemies. My experience is not like yours that he is just in the fight. And have a great story to tell about this. One day i was in the oval sitting there i get a newsletter that says trumps storming mad and meeting with him like are you mad . Hes drinking a diet coke, like what my mad about . And im with them for a couple hours and we were joking about stuff we are having a really good day and he was like, they said i mad . Then he yells, whens the last time i been mad . Its funny because article after article writes out that article they love to self feed. There is no Due Diligence left in journalism, its dead. You guys know how it works. Probably somebody looked through the window he flailed his hand at me saying no i dont on another diet coke and now hes mad. Its amazing how many times we wake up and the most amazing when you really know like i actually know like you tap into my brain i know whats going on because youre connected and then he read the article after article and may be one sentence is true they sensationalize before and after in the ad this thing called analysis which all of them are not too bright. Theres a few of them, i gotta say that in case there listening but theyre not, theres a lot that dont know whats going on. They write their analysis of this like its fact and when they do that thats what you got the current news media and they have to do that because then you will click on the link and they wont make money. Its a vicious spiral that has occurred. There are some good ones. I think people a [multiple speakers] do you guys get it out there . You guys know whats real and whats not these days. Because otherwise if this president was only concerned with himself, why would we be winning so much of this country . Why would there be so much success . Truly the things hes doing every day to me hes doing because he loves this country and he wants everyone to have their shot at the american dream, bottom line. Its very frustrating i think for him as we all can imagine to see this kind of nonsense out there. Is anybody like dave . If you listen to his state of the union speech and listen to it through a media fiddler filter theres a 50 point difference in approval. He heard the president speak your light, edit know he stood for this. They will never tell you anything good. It will take two seconds of things they think are the most nefarious or scandalous sayings put them together in a clip and repeated a thousand times to where you think the state of the union was the introduction. Thats literally what they do. Its all about the handshake or the tear or this or that but they dont get to the speech where he gave one of the most president ial speeches in history and we talk about future of america thank you. The best is yet to come. They dont show that. If they did, approval numbers would be greater. What youre seeing happening across the country democrats fall into complete chaos the kenny but cant vote i think all of us could do an excel. I still cant figure out how to count 50,000 vote. Its called common core bread. [laughter] i still dont think we actually got the vote the full vote. As they fall into chaos and the president is has everything in the competence of the control moving toward 2020 you can see whats happening in the polls because all the media does is sell chaos. Thats the problem and thats what we are not being honest about. The president now and we have so much social challenge, i will give you one more good number. Even obama at the end of his presidency the biggest direct contact with 18 Million People the president s list by election day should be over 50 million thats the largest direct contact list probably political issue by far weve ever known of them probably the largest in the country other than maybe a couple commercial companies. That allows us to go around them. Almost 200 million contacts across the country also social media. What he does and what he will continue to do is talk directly to the people the e the most transparent president in u. S. History. Admitted quote Ronald Reagan he famously said during debates ab the one thing i think is great, the other thing i can see with my wife involved in such is the spirit of the campaign very Different Campaign its not like all the other president ial campaigns that people have been involved with. Masters the times and matches the candidates but what i love is they all think like the hate tweeting when you did your video on the hate tweeting, all the nastiness all the trolling that goes on damages for all you trolls and all you folks that think you are bringing these guys down, behind your back in the quarters of the campaign they picked the worst tweets and ive never seen people laugh more and have the best attitude. We record them. Yeah we record the whole video and we read the mean tweets about us. Its really kind of funny and we think its hilarious. For the others in my campaign here, they are doing such a great job, we have a great family atmosphere over there and the Campaign People are proud to work. Im very proud of our team and we are almost 200 already over there. Thats twice three times the size we had in 2016. They are working hard working for this whole country and working for the president. Its exciting that we have something we can all be proud of. All of you will participate your part of the family. Each and every one of you for everything youre gonna do i know its all of you that stand up and make a difference, its not me and my computer. Cant do that anymore. They are going to stop that. Its all of you standing up and getting out there and fighting. If you do that every single one of you get 10 people to do that youd be amazed at what you can accomplish.
