Talking to strangers from one of my favorite authors, Malcolm Gladwell. I was so jealous last week my husband and son attended a breakfast where he was speaking and of course i Read Everything that he has written and followed his cones for years. Along with blink, out wires, whats a dog saw, the others i have now downloaded on my kindle talking to strangers. Just a little bit into it, not that far but totally intrigued. Ive also made certain that i have my 2020 farmers almanac downloaded and looking at that. You cant be good reading when it comes to the farmers almanac. Its just, i love it. I keep track of it, im a gardener i love being outdoors. So you got to have the farmers almanac. What kind of information can you get from that . By the mac s it the sickness acorn swelling of the trees or the hickory nuts, you will find all sorts of things and that farmer almanac. Before he got to back to other books i want to go back to Malcolm Gladwell for a second. He so counterintuitive and a lot of his approach, does that interest you . I find it incredibly interesting because what he does he doesnt take anything at face value. Or what you see on the surface. And probably outliers is one of my favorite books that he wrote because what he does is to say here is the promise and this is why you should be curious about this premise and this is how it becomes different then you may have thought it was going to be. Talking to strangers im just a little bit into that but for someone who likes to communicate and considers communication to be vital i think talking to strangers is something very instructive there. Words that change minds shelley survey has written, i think this is like her third book this is another of those communication books. You look at being someone that comes from the sales and marketing side of things going back to my first jobs selling figuring out what motivates people, words to use, how you use language, her latest book is one that i just downloaded.
