To increase the contribution it was is getting ridiculous over the last couple of years increased by 130 billion over the next couple of years this was done largely over the last two days now have 400 billion so the total of 530 billion other countries will be putting in to nato it is strong far greater than anybody thought if you look at the secretary general who was very generous in his remarks what i have done for nato but in terms of getting other countries to put up money they were not putting up enough money now at a level like has never been seen before. I want to thank everybody that was there especially Mister Stoltenberg who has done a fantastic job the secretary general thank you that was a tremendous success it wasnt reported accurately thats okay but the relationship with other countries is really good they cannot totally love me if youre not putting up the money your your fair share in the money you are supposed to be spending you get the protection of the us and the greatest military force of the world i told some people there are delinquent is just like they did for the last 15 years and not pay up at the 2 percent level that frankly is not that high. 2 percent is not that high but i had a lunch yesterday with the Percent People that are at that level there is a total of Nine Countries some countries are getting close and getting closer its not fair they get us protection they put up their money and i use that term delinquent but that is what they are. We had tremendous success and nato is in very good shape and the relationships are extraordinary. Today to host a working lunch with the ambassadors on the United NationsSecurity Council and our Us Ambassador for joining us and doing an extraordinary job at the United NationsUnited States holds the presidency of the un Security Council for the month of december during lunch i will outline americas priorities of how we can best work to gather we have done this before and we have learned a lot its been an interesting time for me today the nations face a range of security threats including terrorism Drug Trafficking illegal migration and the spread of chemical and biological weapons and we are working very hard on those problems especially the last three can be nothing more important taking action to confront these and other dangers and includes a behavior of the Iranian Regime that has killed hundreds and hundreds of people in a short period of time including protesters people are hearing what is going on i would like to see the media i get involved because its not a good situation its a horrible situation. It is something that is a big scandal its killing a lot of people they are arresting thousands of their own citizens because of protesting and i think the media should get involved. I dont know if they will because i have their own reasons but absolutely they should america will stand with the iranian people with a righteous struggle all that money is wasted not treating people properly they are rioting and protesting and unhappy also to join the United States the world is more secure when people have the right to follow their convictions we have been strong on that and getting back to iran and as it was with certain points of time there are certain points of time it was doing very well. But it could be fixed very quickly that we had people that dont want to do that for some reason. They dont get it. Thank you for attending the lunch today. These are people in their own countries at the top level and have great ideas you will start with kelly and she will introduce herself and say a couple of words then we will go around the room to introduce the representatives for these very important countries. Thank you mister president it is an honor for anyone to serve that we deserve a personal friend in this president is such a great thrill so much so i felt like today i bring home my boyfriend as a girlfriend i was so very excited and he has taught me the importance of being a Business Leader first putting your Country First because within the Security Council to be transparent as a president to make that clear to demand the 2 percent its very important to hold people accountable and as a Security Council we all have the same values with the people that have less that we have in the present has taught us well that the people that elected him that is what we are all about in the Security Council and im proud that this is the strongest counsel the nation has ever had. Officials are saving youll send more troops. We will announce whatever we do if there is a threat it will be met very strongly we will announce whatever we may or may not be doing.
