Ronald reagan president ial foundation and institute. Thank you all for coming this evening. In honor of our men and women in uniform who defend our freedom around the world lets please stanwhats pleasestand and joine of allegiance. [applause] [cheering] i pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of america. And to the republic, for which it stands, one nation, under god, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. [applause] [cheering] thank you. Please be seated. Before we get started, there are a few people i would like to recognize in the audience. I will start with the mayor and his wife shelby. [applause] for her congressman and his wife. [applause] iec ccharlie is here. [applause] [cheering] and i know hes supposed to be with us. Pat, here he is. [cheering] okay. So we have a great evening in store for you. I will be brief but before i introduced a special guest who will introduce the speaker tonight, i want to take a moment to also thank a handful of other people we have in our audience this evening who are representing some of americas finest. You might not have seen our beautiful landscape, the incredible hilltop that we are on presently looks more like the moon than southern california. Many of the gorgeous trees that surround us is now gone and you might have even smelled the difference in the air. It acts as a reminder of what we went through at the library just ten days ago. Indeed, it was troubling the early surrounded by fire in our front gate and all the hills that encircle us. There were moments when the winds were so strong and the flames were so high i thought there was a chance we might lose this National Treasure called the Reagan National library. Library. Fortunately, on the ground and in the air we were saved by heroes. [applause] we know them as First Responders and i had the chance to watch firsthand these magnificent people in action in the face of some trying conditions, 50mile an hour wind. The wind threatened to a library and air force nextdoor. In this very auditorium. [applause] these men and women literally saved the day and in the process saved the Reagan Library. The fire department, the chief and his wife, the county sheriff commander and speaking of heroes, november marks one year since the devastating launching and tonight we have with us the widow of the sergeant. [applause] if you all could stand, please stand. [applause] each of them represents the thousands of First Responders, police, fire, rescue workers and their family who fought back not only the flames at the Reagan Library but the troubles all over southern california. If you would, now please join me. I want to introduce a special woman who will introduce our special speaker tonight. Shes known to just about everyone in the audience for her roles whether that involved her Public Service career as a prosecutor in San Francisco and la [applause] or he the terrific work in fox s over the years. [applause] its no surprise that she is closely involved in supporting president donald trump, and if the stories are even remotely close to get support of our speaker this evening. [laughter] more on that, ladies and gentlemen if you could please join me in welcoming to the stage mrs. Kimberly [cheering] thank you so much. What an incredible moment. And good evening to you, friends of the state of california. How are you tonight . [cheering] so many familiar faces near and dear to me in this audience and an incredible human being you are going to hear from him just moments. But i want to say its wonderful here to live and breathe the American Dream and the first politician that made me feel so inspired it was Ronald Reagan and the great promise and hope of america and of the American Dream. [applause] who would have ever thought a young little girl growing up in california who was born and raised in the district in San Francisco, the proud daughter and wonderful mother and who came from the southern part of ireland and the two met and fell in love in San Francisco and began living the American Dream. [applause] [cheering] and benefit and education and quality of opportunity in this wonderful country that we call america, one that im proud to stand for, a flag that im proud to stand for, First Responders, military, law enforcement, the sense of new hope and forgiving. If such an incredibly powerful when humbling moment [applause] [cheering] and getting a great education and stuttering rhetoric and communication i had the opportunity to write papers about Ronald Reagan a man who fills my heart and my dreams and literally made me feel there wasnt anything in the world but i could not accomplish because i was a born free american. [applause] Ronald Reagan, an incredible president who didnt see race or creed or color, hes all human beings capable of intelligence and love and faith, tremendous heart of liberty and the desire for freedom and peace through strength. And now my heart swells again with the opportunity to be here and to stand as a Senior Adviser to the president of the United States, donald trump. [applause] this is a president that i feel most embodied the true spirit and passion that we all felt with Ronald Reagan and people feel alive and joy and hope because like Ronald Reagan, president of trump is someone who did not need the job and as reagan used to say we can accomplish a lot in life if youre not worried about whos going to get the credit, and that is the way President Trump is and thats the way the incredible American Patriot family, the trump family is about giving back to this country and fighting for each and every one of us. [applause] this incredible bright, big, amazing country that we call america, the United States of america is because more unites us than divides us. I fight across this country for the forgotten man and woman, and i fight sidebyside with donald trump junior. Its incredible how much he fights. Hes the tip of the spea spear n 2016, the fight for this country, and to fight for his father because like Ronald Reagan, the family and this incredibly exceptional human being know you dont live life on the sidelines as if everything is at stake. You get involved in the pigskin in the games and fight for what you believe in and fight for future generations. My father and my younger brother and sergio is here as well and i am reminded about the people that we are in a fight with every single day for freedom, for liberty, for the first amendment, for the second amendment, for all of the things men and women have fought and died to preserve and protect our freedoms and for the free market. Thank god for the free market and capitalism that helps produce an American Family that understands the value and has helped restore the value of the american dollar with a booming economy that has lifted everyone up, for the veterans in this country, women doing better than ever before under President Trump. [applause] 47 of all new businesses in the United States of america created by hardworking people of color and god bless President Trump for that and this family for what they have been able to accomplish. [applause] [cheering] and a family that asks for nothing back in return and they take it every single day. Nothing stops them, nothing slows them down because they believe it is both an honor and a privilege to fight for this country, to fight for each and every one of us and someone that connects with the base that understands the hardworking people across the country there is no one better than donald trump, junior. And let me tell you [applause] some of the best moments and weekends away have been those where he stays at his buddys house whether it is in iowa on a pullout bed or anywhere across the country weve been in all of the states and its inspirational to see the connectivity and how people are transformed together by one passion and one purpose. And this book is so incredible that he has shared all of those moments. The hoyas, the lows, this incredible journey and th into e front row seats to the political history that he has had. Im so happy youre here tonight, this incredible count country. This is everything we all have together to fight for. Thank you for honoring them and supporting them, for buying his book and being in the fight with him every step of the way. It gives me great pleasure and pride to introduce to you someone that i found yearly for 14 years. Hes my best friend, my champion, a great american, and thanks to donald trump, junior and his father and their family, america will never be a socialist country. Ladies and gentlemen, donald trump junior. [applause] [cheering] thank you so much. Thank you so much. Thank you guys. [applause] [cheering] that is such a better welcome then we got on the view the other day. [applause] [cheering] i had a little fun with some of the guys when weve are doing a book signing. Then would come through and say i really liked you on the view the other day and im like what the hell were you watching the view. [laughter] if was just a highlight. I wasnt actually watching. [laughter] but its great to be here. Kimberly, thank you so much for an incredible introduction. I always get in trouble for saying this but everyone knows she kissed me, not the other way around. We have to have a little fun. If the left have their way we could never have fun again and i cant allow that. Thank you for the incredible introduction. As always it is always difficult following kimberly. I dont usually like to do it because she is so good and nuanced. Shes much more beautiful than i am. [laughter] candidates always tough to follow that because she can do it all. As you solve the other day, she can also go for the kill, but she does it so well you come back for more. Me, im a one trick pony. You need a sledgehammer, im your guy. Kimberly thank you, john, thanks for having us it is an honor. Ronald reagan was one of the true inspirations of my life, one of the real people that probably pushed me towards conservatism, what he did and what he was able to accomplish in his presidency is a legacy that few would ever live up to, so thank you for having me here. It is an honor to be back. The last time i was here it was a little bit different. I think it was the second president ial debate and by that, my father was no longer on the outskirts, was in the middle. No energy. [laughter] kimberly, i call her princess, voice of reason like this is going to go big she says no. [laughter] i remember saying it because i was impressed, as was my father. He had sort of taken a pretty aggressive position in the opening debate and you could see when he did the Little Energy thing you solve the next day like running down the streets i was like its over, because its in your head. So he came to that debate and threw a little from the side and my father it was a different sort of response. He said thats great. You brought some energy this time, thats really good. It was like a man talking to the little child and it was all over. We all saw it. I groaned or when you were here, you were about to fall off the stage. It was a different form of president ial debate. It is great to be back here in this kimberly said, for me the last few years has been such an incredible roller coaster of emotions, experiences one can only hope to go. Maybe not the bad side. I did get to see the amazing sitsight in 2015 i got to go ovr the country and watch political history unfold and what was arguably probably the greatest upset in political history. [cheering] not because it should have been, but because the deck was stacked. I got to go around sort of middle america, the places that have been just forgotten for so long. It was interesting for me because i had to sort of disclaimer everything especially in 2019 yes i recognize im the son of a billionaire from new york city. A sort of unlikely conservative citizens supposed to be conservative. I went to an Ivy League School of all those things that dont exactly breed conservatism. I spent enough time with charlie cook. [applause] truly the leader of the young conservative movement, someone that has gone around College Campus and High School Campus getting children before they are indoctrinated into the lunacy that is the left these days. [cheering] i met charlie on the trail probably early 2016 and a friend of mine said youve got to meet this guy. I said give a little bit about him. Hes forgotten more of this. Hes on College Campus, hes 22yearsold. I said get out of my office. [laughter] seriously. I dislike we have no idea what we are doing here. The last thing i need is more people that have no idea. Weve got a good message of who can deliver it and who is not afraid of fighting. My friend was rather convincing. Give me five minutes. At the end of the five minutes i said congratulations, youre on my team. Charlie is the reason i was speaking at College Campuses in michigan, and wisconsin. The states the other side just took for granted and didnt even bother to go to in the last month of 2016 i think we probably spent 14 days out of 30 in michigan and wisconsin against all odds. Now i say experts [laughter] you know where im going with this, right. Sort of like a rhino. They are experts in name only because they have called themselves experts for decades they just havent been right in the same amount of time. But we did that and when the results came in, it was incredible. But for me, i actually traveled the middle of thmiddle of the ce i came from a place that you wouldnt think that would designate, my hobby hunting, fishing, the Great Outdoors all that stuff took me into thank you, the heartland of america and it wasnt the iowa caucuses. Everyone you see they are usually in their hunting gear doing Something Like that and they are there within iowa and d the famous seven minutethat thes earlier. [laughter] every one knows what im talking about. Its the most beautiful hunting clothing ive ever seen. Its like its never been worn. But we are there for the photo off and im there with my buddy from the state police that hasnt been a it was a different experience and one thing that weve noticed today that my father noticed is that honestly, people understand them and they give genuine. For me because i actually did those things, was my lifestyle that wasnt just a photo op. They got it. It was interesting. We did sort of this hunt in iowa during the primary because its sort of thing you do. I was giving a speech about the outdoors and how it was a big part of my life and how it protected me from everything. Not to say that i was an angel. We will keep it among ourselves i wasnt always an angel but they could have beeitcould have. [laughter] and so the outdoors is a big part of my life and im getting that sort of speech in iowa and i think it was maggie of the new york times, she says while howe argue different than the other people here and i said that is a good question. You know what, how many birds did you see go up today and she said nine. Okay im glad you are keeping count. How many shots did i take . Nine. I said no further questions. [laughter] [applause] but again, it wasnt just the fact that formed the basis. I wrote the book because after that experience, and some of the great and not so great but we will get into shortly i had a mother that escaped communist czechoslovakia and perhaps this is why for me it is such an honor to be here at the Reagan Library, the guy that actually took down the soviet union. [applause] for me, unlike those that are espousing the views of socialism and communism is no longer a fringe element that they are out there. In the mainstream pop culture today unlike them, ive actually experienced it myself, like ive actually been there. I had a bluecollar grandfathering patrician who saw the incredible blessings we have in this country and freedom, all the things we should be so proud. He said your kids are blessed. From about the age of five i went over there with them every summer from four to six weeks. I waited in a bread line and i can assure you it isnt so glamorous when you are actually doing it. I have a 93yearold grandmother who is still alive. Shes still over there and i get a call every few feet. She only has cnn and leftist propaganda. She calls me and this is a woman probably tougher than most of us maybe not as much as the First Responders, by the way thank you for being here and protecting us. [applause] but this is a woman who spends her early 20s in the basement of her farmhouse for a few years hiding from the nazis, a person that then lived through the communist occupation for approximately 40 years. I found it ironic when they said he speaks fluently, that is the connection to russia to have you read european history . They are not exactly fans. [laughter] they will try anything, folks. But this lady whos been through a lot will call me a a thief he weeks in tears because she sees these virtues being espoused as though they are so wonderful and shes telling me, we are speaking in czechoslovakia, but thats the best i can do. You dont understand. It always sounds so good. Everything is free. It never works that way. And i want to hear, hear the voice break on this person who was a big part of raising me and went through so much who then got to watch her daughter lived the American Dream and she is in tears for fear of her grandkids and Great Grandkids and doesnt that tell us all we need to know and that is why i ask when i see these virtues being brought up in the mainstream political conversations i feel like that sort of the other side. Its interesting that there are no people, not ones who have actually lived under both systems who are willing to come here and say weve got to bring that here right now its so great. Seriously. Like how many people are there from its called debate coke with soviet block east europe, china, free and close to home, venezuela, cuba. Its millions and millions of people and theres not one, democrats can find anyone to Say Something stupid, just look at the debate. [laughter] they say some really dumb stuff and they cant find one person whos lived under the system that will vouch for them . Doesnt that tell us all that we need to know . So that was the genesis of the book and for those of you that watched the view, you can understand why we named it back. [applause] because today it is just the view. If you dont share that one vi view, its over. You are canceled. I use that example in the book i use the example of martina, and incredible tennis player. We knew her growing up, she was one of the similar to my mother who became an incredible athlete. Shes an activist for 35 years before it was cool. A few weeks ago, she came out. I dont love the notion. As a female athlete that was her opinion. So this is someone [applause] i dont care but when you start doing that and start competing, i saw an mma fighter who was a male professional fighter transition to female and proceeded to fight against the females and broke the orbital skull of a great woman fighter and i see records being destroyed. Bicycle World Records being decimated and i say where are the feminists . Where are the people that fought for title ix and womens rights and as the father of two girls one that is already an incredible athlete i just say where do we ever draw the line. She came out and said im sort of against the notion we have two separate bits and within minutes it was over. She was attacked by those that she advocated for for 40 years. It was as though anything that she had done prior to this for her entire life was just meaningless because she didnt take it as far as they needed to be taken. Now again, those goal posts are never ending. Does anyone know what woke is, its a new ridiculous phrase but its like it goes right in about a week. So this one come woman comes ous destroyed it has to come back and says thats the only way to maybe get accepted back. But i see the stor stories in ir the blessing of being able to go around on the campaign trail and fight for conservative values and for people who are actually doing things in fighting for the virtues they espouse on the campaign trail. I started telling these stories and people are like youve got to put this stuff down. They said you should write a business book and i thought my father covered that. I dont expect him to to beat him in sales but i dont want to be decimated. We are just going to let that one go. But this was a unique experience and when you start hearing that over and over you start doing it. We got to be the tip of the spear for the greatest upset in history and then i got to be the number two target over the greatest witchhunt in modern history. [applause] being sort of the number two target of what i call the hoax, this is whats going on and its going on again today. You see what happened and what transpired. Legal fees, half of congress saying they are going to try a need for treason. Not hyperbole, they are actually saying this. I took a 20 minute unsolicited meeting but, sure. Like you had no problem with every clinton paying Million Dollars for foreign operatives to go into countries [applause] so, foreign agents are going into other countries, giving it to the fbi who then leaks it to the press also known as the marketing wing of the dnc and the press writes the story that is used as the basis for the fbi investigation and it fails and everyone sort of got it. They were the ones that never even wavered. [applause] [cheering] but you saw it and the desperation every time they try to do something else. Im still waiting for him. Fullstop chef tamika adam full of shift. He kept saying he had seen the collusion theres a double standard we can get into that as it is covered in the book. But when you do 30 hours of testimony in front of the house, the senate an senate and all th, this is good material and then after failing and flailing away spending millions of taxpayers money hiring clinton donors because they had no bias, seven of them were at a celebration that never happened, they were going to break the glass ceiling. [laughter] minor details, but im sure they were being objective in their prosecution. They went with their trump card. We are going to put Robert Mueller on the stand. And i remembered within about 30 seconds on twitter somebody please ask him if hes actually read the report that bears his name. [laughter] i got a little bit of the trump to tourettes syndrome of the funds. [laughter] it was all a sham. He was there not because he was a great prosecutor or wa was goo be a great investigator for unbiased. He was there because of his prior past. A decorated marine, former head of the fbi, said he was above reproach. He wasnt there because he was good at his job, he was there because trump wouldnt be able to fight back without the media having a field day with it and that is what we are seeing today in version number two with the impeachment nonsense. The outrage of last week, again i got the trump gene, but i saw it, donald trump junior or else the whistleblower. I thought i did . I wish i did. They make it seem like i hired a team of spies to figure out who the operative whistleblower was. I put an article out of that had his name in the title of the article. Like if this is some sort of secret, you dont know whats the right actually means. [laughter] it was literally on the drudge report. The people on the views of many people dont know what that is. Its the largest news aggregator in america. Seriously. It was on there for four days. And i realized its Robert Mueller over again. They were not matter that i outed him, they were mad that now that the name is out there, people could actually do some Research Like has been done over the last few days. They could realize this guy was joe bidens special guest at a state dinner. They could realize that he worked with the brandon dies in the all these people that started number one and lied to congress and miraculously gets away with it cause hes on the team. They could see the photograph of him crying. Remember the photographs outside of the oval office with susan rice crying like a little child. [laughter] and they regionalized then when the lawyer of his comes to their defense other than the allegations like i have security clearances for those that have been put away. I dont know if i would defend that on twitter. You see their feed. January 2017. The two started and the impeachment is next and you realize here we go again. Its just another set of. So that is what we have been dealing with. Kimberly, you even get into all of the success. That is something ive never spoken about. Alltime low, unemployment. [applause] [cheering] for everyone. Africanamericans, hispanics, women. Alltime high. Startup businesses isnt that supposed to be what the politicians do . When did we get to the place where that is no longer the norm and how sad is it a. How can we take the twitter account away. You know what wasnt mentioned, china. Since we are at the Reagan Library, china the year 2,000 version of what was then the soviet union and they didnt even talk about it if tha that doesnt tell you all the need to know, i dont know what does. So again, i ha i have to forgetl this down and put it on paper and have some fun with it. Ive mastered the art. Ive learned from the best. [cheering] to be able to take my experiences and really spell it out so that people can see, again, it is much less of a political book than it is a vote obookon our culture because thas what i believe is at stake. Theres never been more oppression and suppression of free speech. Thank you so much for having me here today. [applause] [cheering] dont even think about it. Leave me alone. I will take some questions now are you good with that . How do you want to handle that . Make them walk their talk while the colleges come universities, high schools off the grid driving solar powered cars and it comes out of their current budget to set an example for the rest. [applause] [cheering] i think that was probably more of a statement than a question. We do have to protect our environment. While im getting lectured by your friendly neighbors in hollywood down the road to capitalism and the free market on their own we dont have to penalize we are giving it as a country tha but we should be pug them to do it, not taking the heat ourselves while destroying the middle class of america. That is the politicians have been doing for far too long. [applause] [cheering] can you please, please ask your father to come to california [applause] with that kind of response, im not sure i have a choice. We have no representation here in california. It is important and worth fighting for. I dont need any illusion that you win the presidency here. Theres a lot of house seats. The reasonable Decision Makers allowing me to do stuff like get rid of some of the standing dead timber that makes you light on fire every few weeks. What i hear from so many people even those that are moderate centrist and some that lean left they are sick of changing. So there is no question to see if they can be won back in the state. Its a valentines story on the Upper East Side of new york its not exactly a conservative thoughts and principles of small red teddy bears and thought it was very romantic. Its probably not my forte but i went with it. Im sitting here like who is the guy to create a scene and start a fight and do something to be woke on instant drama or whatever it may be. Im sitting there discernible but wholemeal. We are fighters. We are not going to get ambushed. Were just sort of waiting for it. So we get through with dinner and everyone is giving me decide i at least in my mind. [laughter] we paid the bill and we are walking out and theres an older lady. This is the scene i get to read about this and she goes you guys have the biggest [laughter] in the world and i love it. [laughter] sorbonne is having a heart attack and cant believe this is going on at the library. I apologize. But it was amazing because it was that moment whe the moment n the restaurant, all of those people i thought were giving me decide i come and they stood up, started clapping and taking southeassouthselfies. They just didnt know how to respond and they were afraid of what others would think because they had been put in the corner just what people in the polls. We were supposed to be winning that we were losing by 12. I ago how many people are gettingivingabout 15 congratule up three. That is a trump voter. They just didnt want to be put in the corner. The second someone had the guts to Say Something, everyone else realized they were fine with me they just were not willing to take the next step. We will be here. We just need you to take the next step, call your friends, be active to donate and volunteer, to do it all. [applause] over here. Right here. [inaudible] [cheering] [applause] i dont know. I havent spoken to him in the last 30 seconds. But again, we have to put up good candidates. I will say this one of your congressman and this great state, kevin mccarthy, actually doing an amazing [applause] [cheering] hes actually doing an amazing job as it relates to just that, which is candidate recruitment. Republicans all over, you know, the school of thought was whoever is here, whoever, we are just going to let them run. It can be 785 pounds with no ability theyve been there long enough so we will let them run. Im going to focus on page 4,776 of a policy piece that no one has read. Kevin has done the opposite. He is going out there and finding people who can win and have the passion. He calls me up, can you call this person, they want to know that youre going to be in their court. I will do it. I love seeing that because that is how we win. We cant just run someone, the democrats did a great job and they will find someone. Former marine also looking for yada yada great track record. But then they take over and you wonder what the heck happened. No more of that. So, there are people in your backyard fighting that fight because that is the way to win. We have time for one last question. Right here. These excuse me. Go ahead, please. You cant all fight over me. Kimberly is going to get upset. [laughter] i am a patriotic jewish republican, proud. [applause] i have one simple question for you and that is why is it during the democratic debates, they dont have the American Flag in the background representing us . What are your thoughts on that . Ive said this in my speeches. It was so great to come here and here the pledge and see these sort of things. I say that is the trifecta and if they did not they would throw them in jail for 35 years. It is important so its just not something that they take all that seriously. You can look at the policies and somebody will say thats terrible to say that that is the reality. You saw last time during the Democratic National committee meetings, they had forgotten flags on the stage and were scrambling to get them. Its like whats going on here. Its just a different factor, but its also great to see some jewish republicans. [applause] [cheering] when you see this in congress it is truly disgusting to me, and i know that for my father who after, what, 40 years . Moved the embassy in israel to its rightful home in jerusalem. Now, this is something that has been de facto u. S. Policy for decades. Bush, clinton, obama they all said they were not going to do that, but no one did. They all campaigned and made that promise. And my father actually did it. Remember the media, it was going to be the start of world war i iii. Like this passed the senate on 99 to nothing. It was insane. At the start of world war iii managed to pass resoundingly like i dont know it seems like a major failure of checks and balances. And there were billions of people that were going to die, and what happens, two people threw rocks for a few seconds. [laughter] but thats the difference between a politician and someone who knows how to get things done, someone who has done it. [applause] that is why we get this kind of response because that is no longer the norm. Thank you very much. We can do some more. I am on your clock. We cannot thank you enough for coming. Thank you very much. [applause] [cheering] [cheering] thank you for the support and i just thank you for all you do. Thank you. [applause] [cheering]. Good evening everyone and welcome to read munro my name is nicholas i have direct events here the strand. I wanted expand
