Deal in the other issues we have been discussing for some months now. Im optimistic that soon we will be able to reach an agreement on the immigration issue. There are a lot of different groups as you know, some of them bipartisan, some of them republicans only discussing the way forward. I will definitely repeat what i have said, once we have established that the government is going to be open which seems to happen needs to happen by february 8 we will then go forward with an immigration debate and im going to structured in such a way thats fair to everyone and in the senate on those rare occasions when we have these open debates whoever gets to 60 wins. It will be an opportunity for a thousand flowers to bloom. The president and the republicans have been very successful with Regulatory Reform getting rid of regulations which has made it easier for the economy to grow. Not just for the economy here but for the national ad Program Going on. The newspaper put out by the peoples republic of china talking about cutting red tape in china to make it easy to attract Foreign Investment to show how we are leading the way and using the ability to get rid of regulations to help the economy grow. China is basically wallowing our lead. Next is infrastructure money to eliminate so many of those regulations to construct projects buildings for infrastructure and we are seeing now the impact the Bipartisan Committee has said there are 59 different rules and regulations, forms and approvals that you need to have moving forward on many of her structure projects. We have a project we worked on in wyoming that took over a dozen years to get through the processing to do a project that only took two years to do. We do a much better job on infrastructure with Regulatory Reform so we can build in ways that are faster, better, cheaper and smarter. So this is going to be a good month for people to get a paycheck. Coming back from missouri on sunday in kansas city a person on the plane behind me as we are getting off patted me on the shoulder and said thanks for the tax cut. My wife and i just got our first checks. We are going to have 5000 more this year that we didnt have last year. We are going to put all of it in our kid College Savings accounts and we are really excited. The boone county clerk in columbia missouri ran their employees payroll for the first time with the new numbers and announced the average boone county employee will have 150. 54 a month that they didnt have last year. Thats 1800 a year. There are 485 of them so thats 949,000 that will be in the boone county economy that wouldnt have been there before the tax cut. People are going to be thinking about what they are going to do and the opportunity they have that they wouldnt have otherwise. A lot of that opportunity goes directly back into the counties and communities they live in. A lot of these numbers will come out in frankly we should be talking about it. Over the course of the past 36 days in colorado 10 Law Enforcement officers have been shot and three have been tragically killed including one yesterday. This left for children without their fathers and countless loved ones with enormous losses. Deputy deputy flick gave their lives and we cannot do enough to honor their sacrifice but i want every Law Enforcement officer and colorado and in this country to know we have their backs and enough is enough. Theres a proposal in the works right now on immigration. How do you decide which one to put up for vote first . I say to all the folks who say they have a proposal would be a good idea to draft it to allow discussion that in a few days we will need to have actual proposals to move them forward. Beyond that im not trying to tilt the Playing Field in any particular direction but i have said to those who are working on the proposal you need to get a draft. We cant offer them if they are not drafted. Im hoping that everybody and her stance by february 8 it will be time to go forward and beyond that i cant be specific because there is no secret plan here to try to push this in any direction and the senate is going to work its will. I hope that we will end up having something. Id rather deal with an issue. The deadline is approaching for daca. [inaudible] i would like to see us get a result. The administration is a proposal and i think the president was very generous to come out to a path for citizenship for dreamers. I am honestly shocked that the other side didnt say sign me up up. I think that indicates an outcome and we just dont know where 60 votes are for any particular proposal so we are going to find out. [inaudible] i dont think thats going to happen.
