[background sounds] [background sounds] gary shapiro, what are some of the buzz products . Guest ces 2010 is pretty big, and the products, theres a lot of focus on Artificial Intelligence in many different ways. We have smart speakers which theres alights and google home, obviously google is future but we talking about other products in the home and into the car. We also talked about Artificial Intelligence in another way, and that is smart cities. With a big focus on smart cities for the first time. We had the secretary of transportation here talking about it at a lot of different groups focusing on it. Thats not about the consumer. This is a sense of business to government, business to those investing and making our lives in cities better because twothirds of the population will live in cities soon compared to onethird in 1960. Of the big things is we continue the Movement Towards self driving cars. We know were getting there. Theres more and more companies involved. Theres more and more demos. Of course theres car introductions. We had a major phone introduction here, smartphones are Getting Better designed, longer battery life, doing more Different Things, easiertouse. Some of them are even losing keyboards and things like that. A lot of systems entitled you are occurring in robotics of course. Thats the one that will continue to grow every year to it make sense because robotics and smart phones and internet of things as we get older, we need people to take care of us and we need Technological Solutions for a lot of things, and thats one of the ways we will be able to take care of our parents and our cells, frankly. Host we spent about a lot f time over in the robotics area of this convention. Its grown enormously. Guest of course robotics would go. Since i was a kid reading science fiction, this is been the future. Robotics are going up only what they can do but becoming more humanlike, and theyre going to learn what we like. Right now a robot, they are single function, a little awkward and bulky. I like an old navigation device. With Artificial Intelligence immersing everything they will learn and get better and better and know what we like. Host what are the other things we found here is 5g, the advent of 5g. Guest certainly the world is going to 5g. The u. S. Has to be part of that. Thats very significant and important. 5g will give you 100 times the speed to download a movie or to watch something. It will also give you close to zero latency which is the gap between sending and receiving messages. Think how important 5g will be part of the self driving equation. When lifeanddeath matters whether your car to medicate with another one or sees a pedestrian and responds we need redundancy and 5g 5g is part oe solution. Thats also part of the solution to get broadband to the rural parts of america. It will be the most expensive to put into place or it would get a lot of information very quickly people and allow all americans to become part of the developed world. Host we talked about several of the products here but wheres the policy and the regulation that goes to those products . Guest with 5g specifically we have to invest infrastructure tree where to make sure the spectrum is nitpick with to encourage economies. We have to finish the standardization process. With self driving cars, under the obama and chop administrations, its been the same forward momentum, the same vision of the world as secretary chao said, where are disabled and elderly people will be empowered and the rate of human error cost action which is now a 4 of accuracy accuracy in human error will go down dramatically saving thousands of lives and hundreds of thousands of injuries each year. Host sometimes it looks like a car show in portions of it. Guest certainly this year were drawn about 27 the size of our show, its about 300,000 square feet for cars, vehicle technology. The truth is the entire car, were not a a car, when not soe cars to the public. This years model were pushing, were pushing the possibilities in the future innocence. A lot of infrastructure like johnson controls, qualcomm, intel and others are saying this is what we can do in the future. This is what we can go. The entire ecosystem, the car compass themselves, they are seeing it. Theyre looking for deals. The Technology World today is not a world where you can be a Single Company and do great things. You have to partner with other companies. Everyone is aggressively par gray. Thats what we get the innovation leaders from around the world. Because and 40s they can see everyone to need to say that were taken supplements otherwise to go around the world and meet with. Host this is this is a fire weve seen you since the fccs Net Neutrality rollback. People go for the what to make sure to get your view and the view of cta on what they did. Guest well, its a very complex nuanced issue. I personally thought it was the right thing to do because the fcc, it happened if we get to go under the obama administration, gave the sec is enormous powers they should not have. It should not have the power to regulate every device which is up to the internet including automobiles. The Automobile Companies and the Technology Companies make stuff were concerned about this because weve seen dependent on who the Political Party is controlling it, the things they do for some Companies Control aa block innovation and great developer. I was part of the voluntary principles who worked so well for 18 years. We went around the sec, convince them to accept it. The broadband carriers agreed to provide and the internet users, and everyone was happy with that. It worked great. The truth is that different sites are not far apart even today. The republicans and democrats in the broadband providers and broadband using companies, they agree on Net Neutrality. If the limitation that strong. Theres also agreement throughout america that what we really need is competition broadband. In europe theres 100 Different Companies providing telecommunications. Their prices are a lot lower than us and in some cases their speeds are better. Why . Competition. We dont have the competition. Wifi provides a little bit of, fiber, five euros through verizon, cable provide some of the but we need as much competition as possible. So much less important because the truth is consumers, if theres any harm come if they could change the Company Outcome its not a problem. Or if there is, even without the competition what could happen today is of the ftc could step in and carpet could step in immediately. With a without this decision the internet is not going to go away. Away. My problem that ive had with it is both sides have exaggerated so bad whats going to happen and concerned consumers that we are in a position now of, where theres people that have such malicious intent toward the present chairman of the fcc that his kids are being bothered. Theyre getting death threats. This is not american to go after a public official who frankly is a a brilliant guy doing what he thinks is right with a lot of substance and do whats behind them and a lot of good people disagree on both sides but the fringes and extremes on this issue are a reflection of the very that direction that i believe the country should not be going in. Host what does it take to put on a show like this . Guest we plan so far ahead would try to focus on trends that we see in the future. We aggressively reach out to our own partners so we can see with the knowledge is going. We also block out space in las vegas for the next 20 years. We market around the world. With a fulltime team of people who are aggressively around the world. We want to get the media from around the world with 6000 people who come from outside the United States pickets for for the u. S. And las vegas economy. Support for the companies that invest on a global basis with Global Marketing budgets to be here to make it a great efficient experience so the average person who comes here has over 32 meetings and is very efficient in what they do. Host ces takes over the city, and this is this is a cis used to having a lot of people try to las vegas is a city and the United States that has more hotel rooms and convention sadistic weaves everything we possibly can. We were thrilled we just broke ground this week on a new brandnew Convention Center that is supposed to launch at ces 2020. The stateoftheart facility. The stateoftheart facility, workforce around las vegas is the only major Convention Center where the upwards of 50 minutes away from virtually every major hotel and the Convention Center. This is the best Convention City in the world bar none. Host how many square feet does ces take up . Guest we count ourselves by the amount of space that exhibitors by and we about to. 76 million net square feet. Generally that translates close to 5 million gross square feet. The truth is you good at picking up by people trying to see the show in the four days and those five people even if they split up will not see the entire show. The car show a loan, the portion alone is what half the size of vatican city. Host gary shapiro, one of the things you do is garys Book Club Pick what is at . Guest ive written a couple of books and they became bestsellers thanks to ces but i think that opportunity should be spread other people as well. We identify a number of authors based on dozens that apply as having something really relevant to say. I just finished an interview with john grisham, the bestselling author. He wrote a book called the tumor but its about this new technology called ultrasound technology. Im focused ultrasound. Should i three, two, one that . They are looking at 100 Different Things from brain tumors, Prostate Cancer and others at outpatient basis, no chemo, neurosurgery. Its not a general. It can cure a lot in a very unobtrusive way where you can drive yourself and try about three hours later and future treatments over. Host gary shapiro is president and ceo of the Consumer Technology association. [background noises] name is frank and i do virtualreality did i focus on virtualreality as it impacts our client pcs as well as how we work with other parts of our organization, data center, device side of things. One how big of the component . I see this as a one in 20 year and impacts everything we have. The media platform and youll be impacted by this. He will speak about how interactive it will be in the low lane speed and the data sets they give amazing detail in this. We are hitting on comms and [inaudible] and its amazing opportunity and once in a 20 year revolution. We didnt even have a graphic interface and it didnt touch on this and with these virtualrealitys it goes to the next space. Host how did you develop it . Think of it this way. Part of it is an evolution of a we have today how we use [inaudible] design. We try to make 3d models predicting that to the next level and say we are Design Engineers and now i can see that design space i can collaborate with you, spin it around, change it real time and this is why people like to operate. If you have ever built something in your building an engine or a piece of art theres a physicality behind it that you are clamoring on someone else. I like cbrs as an element of giving the ability to control things and we are seeing that in two areas. One where your see an nfl from any angle that you want not just from a single camera angle but think of it as we work with Companies Like liberty or be real and now the audience can participate in that game from any point they want. They can see that game from any angle. Host virtualreality gives us the ability to work in a way that we want to work in the way we been forced to work. Host what component of cr the cpu is important on the physical side of things and ill go through several pieces but from the cpu side of things it certainly is finding navigation but creating these virtual environments you have to demonstrate the ability to do the physical operation. Host looks like we just had an electrical blowout here and with all the electricity going on im not surprised. Keep going. Cpu side of things and on the ethics side of things there is its very high in graphic and working with microsoft that are integrated graphics can have a Value Proposition in an entrylevel and then our next integration of graphics gets better and better and better so things you do can be done with integrated graphics. Then we look at storage and getting those large data because virtualreality has data sets and we dont lose detail. In the smithsonian you can see art in very detail and you want to go from our exhibit two art exhibit very complete so the speed is important but zoom in on the detail and see the detail and not have it pixelated. Then you see what weve done with wireless and that was a pcbased technology so this [inaudible] technology is single wired and i dont want to rewire and i cant think of what we dont have the spiritual environment. Host is the Cloud Transformation and how important is [inaudible] . The cloud is transmission is almost kind of any rework what you can think. You cannot ignore the efficiencies and especially large data sets we are operating in. Everything needs to be cloud enabled but we always say the dissertation about you dont need a powerful plane but you absolutely do. [inaudible] the workloads keep getting heavier and heavier and we need to balance those elements. The elements that you think about edge, my hypothesis is that it has to be very low latency because we dont have low latency between when im moving my head in the experience people get motion sickness and then you have to have a guaranteed quality of service that goes behind that. You want to make sure that quality of services there and then on top of all of that you want to layer security on top of that because some of these are collaborative experiences were have ideas in Automotive Design or want to protect the entertainment so the security layer we have has to be so cloud and edge will be very important. 5g serving it up to the client and points will be unique. Huge data sets and you dont want to lose the experience so this is why its moved not just a single element. Host weve all seen the video or had the glasses on and said cr happening but intel says [inaudible] and what is in there . Thats a cr, virtualreality [inaudible]. Were demonstrating autonomous driving so what is does br bring to it gives us another environment you are in and you can travel in and out of and if i had let me hypothesize of future on augmented virtualreality. I think they are in the art where were wearing Something Like my glasses that are seethrough and doing augmented reality and then it becomes completely occluded. Ive got to be able to do that from outside of my building as a transition and autonomously i can now afford other experiences on being transported as well as my home or office. These are the problems we are thinking about and working for. Host whats the difference between virtual and augmented reality. Over sufficiently, think of augmented as the scene experience. Im seeing you and then things come in. But it still seen the real world around me. The benefit is you can walk around because are not included. On vr i go into something so if its okay to be or not seen the real world but there are cameras be put on virtualreality glasses that let me to detect the real world around me to bring objects to avoid collisions. That is already happening but thats generally how you car and vr. Ar is the through and vr is virtual. [inaudible] this particular business, i would say its a natural extension of some of my i like to focus on things that are on the cusp of happening and you need a little push. Im always interested in what is evolving and what has the potential. I like seeing Technology Come to grip but i also like see the benefit that it brings. I look for opportunities like that. The way i got here is that journey brought me to communications, workstations, data center, with an eye ot in a gaming these categories and into its own and i see tons of potential. You can do more than just entertain. We want people to do surgery and Better Outcomes because people dont need chemotherapy because the fidelity which we can deal those are but that journey is not. Host to science background . I have Electronics Degree and i would design and i did project design and then i did intel with project design. Remember, i told you im pushing my limits and 36 years ago intel occasions. Its filled with opportunities. Host when you hire folks do you look at gamers . You know what we absolutely do. We look for diversity of experience. Some gaming, some sports, some immediate sides, on the tech side and we look for Business Development people who understand tech that has a fun business tolman angle and its the same way like virtualreality. Someone element but to get into this business you to understand gaming and tax and Business Opportunities and you have to do good marketing and you to be a strong architect and systems architect because you have to look at basilica level and it takes good expertise to bring these things to fruition. Host thank you for your time thank you. I appreciate it. [inaudible] [background noises] [background noises] host on the communicators want to introduce you to derek. Mr. Or, what you do for living . Division chief of the Public Safety committees and Research Division at [inaudible]. Host this is the National Institute of standards and technology. Why are you here at the ces show . The division im in charge of in boulder is focused on looking at the next generation of firsts monarch medications and we are really looking at what is Public Safety need in the future, fire, police, ems officials take that next leap into taking advantage of broadband medication and what is coming next for commercial users. We are doing here we have a number of opportunities to out reach to industry in and academia through Grant Programs and involve them in assaulting Public Safety challenges into medications and we are here to see theres a number of companies with interesting concepts, Interesting Technology that have no idea of how they might apply to Public Safety needs and we want to get them interested in helping solve the challenges and problems of our first responder. Host we showed a little display and why do you have a sick woman here . This agreement shows some of the challenges and people understand the challenges for medications when they have to put on these ensembles that are difficult to work on and at day today fire ensemble big about wearing all that equipment and trying to interact with a smart phone or a mask and you dont give a firefighter a smart phone and say hey you will love this new mapping technology, go into the technology and use it. They cant see it because the smoke in the cant touch it because the gloves. Its figure out that they need heads up displays or do they have voiced medications with the system without having to touch anything and there is a lot of companies addressing these for commercial services and we want to bring those ideas and bring those experts in an address them for Public Safety. Host what interactions have had this year . Ive been doing this 15 years and this is our second year and this is my third year at ces and this is my job for 15 years and this is the best interaction with companies we would otherwise never have interaction with that of ever had in my 15 years in his job. Its been phenomenal and its almost been nonstop. I almost lost my voice because we had so many people to talk to. Host what is some idea that has come out of the ces or other technology . One of the most important things i walked away from, three years ago, was back here where virtualreality really jumped off the shelf of future tech and became a commercial product and i walked away and i was driving home from the airport and i literally thought how can we use virtualreality to create new tech involvement for safety involvement which we can envision future devices and have the displays without having them to exist. On the other side of the booth we have a prototype of virtualreality system host walk is over. Yeah, we have we create a realistic Public Safety scenario with tasks to be performed and with those and giving Public Safety the ability to go in those environments and perform the tasks and be able to overlay all kinds of ideas for user interfaces. Math, biometrics, and understand which of those things allow them to do this past better. Industry can use those platforms to decide what to make and decide which things will work better and get money to do those things. Host lets see it. Guys, can someone come to this. They will put on the gear and what youll see is we built this Burning Mountain lodge and. Host that is scott underwo underwood, sorry, ledger would. One of our engineers in boulder. Hes helped the team of this concept and. Host what is he putting on . We want to make this accessible to researchers across country. We dont want to create a platform that no one else can buy. Were using offtheshelf equipment were using in this case real engine so that whatever we do can be easily accessed by industry and ask him you be one will he do . Where giving people the ability to walk in and see what would be like to conceive of having a burning building. Home walk into the room where theres smoke and will be able to put out a fire with fire hose and what were trying to do is show people approve concept. What we have done is weve announced that several months ago a Grant Program in which were giving out up to 5 million to academia and industry to create a prototype of the system that we can understand how it would apply and we have a active price challenge in which we have an active price challenge open right now in which we are asking people to use a platform like this that we will provide them an overlay on top of it some futuristic heads up display for navigating inside a building and the winners will win money. This literally this [inaudible] host thank you very much for time. You bet. Thank you. I appreciate it. [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] host one of the companies displaying their wares here at the ces show in las vegas is kodak, and iconic american company. The ceo of the company is jeff clark. Mr. Clark, what is kodak today . Peter, it is a private vibrant company which employs and were still mostly known for film and its only about 2 of our revenue but if he saw star wars or any of the other major movies james bond or wonder woman and thats all shot on kodak film. Class Motion Picture film doctor in the world. We are in commercial printing and here we have the Consumer Electronics show in las vegas because we are also in consumers. Host what are some of the new products you are displayed while youre here . We have a 360 camera, kodak also for the first time in many years has gone back into insta camera and today we have the kodak sure shot and other cameras that are available and you can take a picture and painted just like [inaudible]. Host would use the 360 camera we have wanted cspan. Is used in real estate if youre going to show your home with 360 views. Its used for action and many people use it when they go out on action rides or use it when they want to get a broader view of a particular area. Host tell us about kodak 36. Basically we been trying to create a new image which is a 360 image so now weve had several generations of product to create 360 video. Here at the show we are showing a new and this is interesting because its not only can you create a 360 image but if you close it we have two different lenses one on either side so it is recording all the video from all sides and all angles. Internally the software and hardware will stitched those two together, create what we call a rectangular bio format, regular video thats compatible with things like facebook and youtube. Any image you record here for photography and video you can then upload and share with your friends and its an interactive image so you can pan left or right and you are giving a virtual reality. Host and then you open this up or close that harvey want to say that . Yeah, this is interesting because then both of these lenses are 190 degrees and when you create a flat image you can use this to create a 3d version of that image. It is something that we see with virtualreality augmented reality that the future is starting to look at creating that real depth of perception image. We can create not only 360 video but create a 3d video. Host this is just a camera, this is not video necessarily no, it is both. Its primarily a video camera but it also takes still pictures as well. This one is more for our industrial use. If you look at it we have three lenses. That is to get a Higher Quality image, higher resolution so in this case when we have a 4k image this one would be in a kate image. We are basically when you look at applications for 360 if you been on restaurants or sometimes it is now real states becoming popular if you wanted to your home you can do it in 3d. We would use products like this to create those higher frame rates and host what about the Mapping Services used when they go out and map the hidden world . If youve ever seen the google car with the big bubble on top its more of a mature vision of that. You are recording all video from all sides at a High Resolution with her production. You can then share and create an interactive. Host that camera, as well, is video and still, correct . Cracked. Untrained. Host does it have audio . They do and we are still using plugin external audio and on the 360 side they are still working with spatial audio so they have a four channel audio as you can left or right and the audio will turn with you. Host forgive me if i am simplistic about this but how advanced is that technology . Its just a camera and audio, isnt it . If you look at the lens we are bending at the light from all Different Directions in the difference of a normal camera we have a sensor on either side now you have two sensors that you have to merge those images together so the complexity and the technology in these cameras is the software that its like if you think of a panoramic picture how you use to pay images from all different angles and then you aligned them up and stitch them together. Now we are doing it with video with very high speed, high rate frame rates in order to do that it takes a lot of memory. Untrained. Host is as a competitive market . Yeah, a whole bunch of companies are trying to get out there and for us this is we have three generations of the 360 product on the market now and this is introducing this for the future so we have been investing a lot in both the software and hardware for the future of 36020 worked for kodak it was your relationship . We are a subsidiary company. We are jk imaging and we are licensed for all the level bases digital cameras and video cameras for kodak and we are a Technology Company that is developing new technology for future video but we also support all the legacy kodak digital camera. Host are these on the market and how much are they selling for . These are not yet available. They are still concepts products that have been in development and we have two other products that are on the market and these will probably be a consumer model here. It will probably be in a five or 600dollar range and probably fill several months out and this will be more of a out of 1500 and this depends on the market condition when we release and launch the product and the other two models we have a consumer model and this one has internal stitching so that we have the same concept where we have two different lenses and then it stitches internal and this one is 500 and its available today which we just started shipping two or three months ago and it also has another feature where this lens we can change mode so you can do 360degree recording but you want to do a flat 4k video you can use the front lens which is 105 degrees lens which will give you a wide angle of video like an action camera video camera and this one here is our goal pro are professional model that we been shipping for the last year and you can see we havent two cameras here and this one requires a little more work because you have to download the file and we do external stitching so the professionals like that product because they are in control and its not just a standard setting as far as light and stitching and overlap so they use highend professional software to stitched the video together. But that is pretty much we see a lot of opportunity in 360 still and a lot of people thought the market would take off because virtualreality and augmented reality and the reality behind it is actually the technology is catching up. Host mr. Clark, even with kodak for a couple of years. Kodak used to be in every american home. Is there a lament that it is not anymore . I think kodak has an incredible brand, 1888 george smith created a Company Based on bringing photography to the masses and we all grew up thats. Kodak still has that love and trust. We are bringing it back with photography products but also with real [inaudible]. The first time in 30 years kodak came out with a new movie camera and a new camera and you can see that slated here and thats will bring people back to what we call the analog renaissance. For so much digital going on with so much time on our phones and much of that is from the movie screens and so we think film and analog is what people will migrate toward. Host another one of the comedic asian devices that you are advertising out here is antenna. What is that . Yes, one of our Research Labs is still an integral part and we have been able to create [inaudible] you have a display here where it has applications and most interestingly that has an application for the car. From a car perspective today you have [inaudible] now to be able to have multiple antennas in a car that can give you better cell phone coverage, electronics and eventually a critical part of [inaudible] host your background is technology background, isnt it . Im an economic undergrad and an mba and i work with technology my whole career. From hewlettpackard and many others. From a technical side, i have it. Host what is your vision for kodak in the next five or ten years . That would be [inaudible] we make products that are easy to use and you push a button and we do the rest. We strive for that everyday. [inaudible] host one of Donald Trumps goals is to bring manufacturing back to the us. Is that feasible . It is for kodak and i think it is for america. At kodak in rochester, new york we still manufacture film. We manufacture toner and ink and synthetic chemical and even heavyduty printers that are manufactured fundamentally we see it in manufacturing as a critical part of the kodak process. Host what are you hearing from attendees . Everyone is excited and innovation and for example we one of the fastest drones in the show. We are one that a recent rate its grown because of an amazing camera and people are excited about that but we get people came in here looking for a gadget but love the antenna. We come to see us you never know what youll find. If youre looking for a drone and you find something else. Host jeff clark, ceo of kodak. Thank you very much. [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] host governor Rick Schneider of michigan, what are you doing here at ces . This is a great place to be if you are from michigan. Theres a convergence going on in our economy and in our worlds economy and society. The automated industry and i tm is you are converging into the mode ability industry. Autonomous connectivity or goals going on and michigan is the world spender of that. What the show is as a showplace for the entire supply chain both those worlds coming together to meet and have dialogue and theres an important opportunity to be here to talk about michigans role in all of that and to make new connections and relationships. Host there are times when you walk around the Convention Center in vegas that looks like a car show. That is relatively recent. The last five years or so the rate of increase has happened compelling and exciting. What i would say is this will transform our society in so many ways. The smart vehicle hard infrastructure but it also will provide challenges so we need to be smart about that. Michigans role is to let these companies have great relationship and whats the best environment for that to happen in a smart responsible way that we understand what the positive and negatives to society. Host what is that mobile world with the michigan economy. Is already have great job but lets talk about the longterm. People over term over look at. Three major areas. First of all, its about safety. Over 90 some of accidents are due to human error. Autonomous connectivity goes can save lives and save many accidents. The second thing is opportunity. If you think about it how many people have disabilities or challenges in their life and could be in an economic disadvantage. Dont have access to transportation other than buses or something. This wont help open up that world for people to get the job training and work and create new Economic Opportunity which is fabulous. The third one is of efficiencies. Particularly with the process. Its not just about the vehicle but making smart highway, highways that can communicate with vehicles. We need to invest in infrastructure in this country but we can do it in a way where its not just about adding more concrete or lanes using a we have a smarter and better thats a huge savings for all of us. Theres no major benefit areas. Host when you talk about smarter roads and infrastructure the communicators we visited the city ann arbor and Autonomous Vehicles going to leave the on the technology . No, you will need both. The connected to the infrastructure will help the Autonomous Vehicle get through a transitional stage. One of the challenges you have right now is there wont be that many people in vehicles that are autonomous and connected and ill have the highest value when the world is full of them. There is a interim phase where it will be important and in the structure and back and forth one pilot were doing right now because we are the world leader in this is we did a pilot with 3m about Construction Zones. We picked a Construction Zone area where 3m embedded in infrared. Sparkles and signs that a vehicle can read help with Construction Zones. But we have the human and now we have the camera can register and that vehicle can understand in the Construction Zone and look at lane markings and do many things in a context that you never believed possible. These are the kind of structure dialogues that are important. Host lets go back to technology in michigan. Not always what people think of when they think technology. Well, what part of history are you looking at. I like to remind people if you go back to the early 1900s we were not just the auto center of the world but the Innovation Center of the world. It was autos and serial and furniture and chemicals in all these industries we were center of the world. What happened is we created a modern corporation and we were so successful we started to lose that entrepreneurial spirit. The good part is over last few years we have gotten it back. Where the comeback state in this nation and now not only are we back to a top ten staple looking forward to how to embrace mobility and new concepts and meet our world and how to adopt them in a responsible way. Host is the mission michigan workforce the educational work being done and are they prepared for this new world question. We have made huge progress. Its a work in progress though and its not done yet because theres more to do but we are leading the country and that and its about competencybased learning and about Information Technology skills and who talk to players on the world they will tell you a lack of professional traits and skill traits they need and robotics people and pull and die people and we are leading and creating those programs and dryness programs but there are so many more great Career Opportunities out there that we still need to educate parents about in young people about and those looking for the next career because in our society we told everyone they should get a four year degree. That wasnt a smart thing. We broke our system. We are establishing a better than in the past and we can be a role model to the country we want you have a technology background. Yes, im a proud nerd. [laughter] host what is that back on . I helped fund the Gateway Computers back in the 90s. I did nanotechnology for a decade before the governor. I love opportunities here in the part i would share with you is not Just Technology but how does it benefit people and one word of caution i would give is there are challenges and downsides to the transition that we also need to be responsible about.
