I am pastor clark and on behalf of our Senior Pastor doctor richard. Good morning everyone. I am pastor clark and the Senior Pastor of our church, doctor richard welcomes you to question tabernacle. We want to let you know some things that are getting ready to happen. Were getting ready to open in just a few moments and we know it is hot outside and will try to rapidly move you through the line. It is important that you pay close attention to all of the instructions because they are vitally important. If you are in this line up in the front of the door, we need you to stay by the wall and stay in line and know who is in front of you and behind you. Now, just as the show and a test, i want you to say good morning to the front of you and behind you. If they didnt speak to you, i will make them go to the playground. [laughter] all right. They beam up will be here between 10 00 and 2 00 oclock. Do not move. We will give you instructions on how to get supplies and how to get in the line for fema. Do not move. Everything that we do we will do in order so that you can get properly serviced so you can move on with your day. Okay. Finally, look at this building and behind you, we ask for your prayers and condolences there is a service there this morning. If you have part in the very front, in the very front, if you parked in any section close to the church, im going to ask if you dont mind moving your car and parking it in the rear. We only want to make sure that we respect the family and their service that they are having at 11 00 oclock. We are not getting ready to start right now but will start in a few moments. If you dont mind, give them some space and move your car to the rear that would help us out greatly. Heavenly father we come before you this morning and we know that you are a good god in the midst of our diversity. We ask your blessings on today and we ask that you continue to flourish us that we would have all that we need. We give our trust to you, lord god. In the midst of this deposition we put our trust in you. God, we thank you that we would continue to bless us. That you will continue to feed us and you will continue to support us. We pray for your blessings and we pray this in jesus name and everyone said glory to god. [inaudible conversations] we want to thank jean greene for being here this morning. He is a great supporter of this community and i can say this that he is conscious of the need of this area and im glad that he is here and would you greet our volunteers from question tabernacle and the distribution center. Thank you because we couldnt do this and we been through disasters in our community a lot of times and im a native and i remember in 1961 when water was up to our houses in northside houston. I wish the lord didnt think we could handle all of these big storms but we are handling them because of you. Thank you for spending your time here and warehousing and helping people and we saw when the water went down we start working with churches because churches are outgoing just like question tabernacle and they will serve in with the commodities and things that families need and i was driving over here and the good news is im glad theyre taking some of the debris off the curbs. We were in session this weekend last weekend i kept saying, you no, everyones possessions are out in the front of her house and as soon as we can get them to pick up and get out of the way that leaves were rebuilding and working on her house and making sure your children get back into school and you can get back to work but i dont expect the church to do it but as you know i grew up in a church and my wife did and together in the same church and we are not christians just on sunday. We are christians seven days a week and we serve. So, thank you. The good news today is that we have had issues in our district not been able to apply for fema assistance but we have almost two dozen female folks with their laptops again, a lot of folks in our district the tollfree numbers hard to get to and they dont use laptops so we can get him a number and they can follow up and i joke the other day that you will need t to for those of us who dont use laptops. Thank you. Pastor, i cant say thank you to the church and we will continue and we have a lot of sources obviously food bank and red cross but we group of folks that have been sending literally truckloads of commodities into texas and we will make sure we get them here. Although, i dont know if your room to get anymore. This was started by our Senior Pastor is that most of these tables will be depleted in a few hours but the need is great and we do need more supplies. We will start getting some over here. Theres a warehouse near grange point that no one it was a good article in the paper yesterday and the day before about it and theyre bringing truckloads of viewed in commodities, diapers and anything else. We will make sure they bring that over. Thank you. [applause] [inaudible conversations] good morning. My name is jean greene and im a member of congress. I want to welcome you and i want to thank Christian Tabernacle for opening up their church, not just today but also for the whole time of this disaster and getting food and essentials to families. We will try to get in as quickly as we can to get you out but today we have fema here with a number of folks with laptops and if you dont have your fema number you can apply for it and we also have Small Business administration here but if you do have your fema number you can still check on see where that in the process. Of course, if you live in our district we also do casework. We have been through these disasters before and i wish i could say it would be quickly but will do everything we can to make sure you get made whole but today is sponsored by not only question tabernacle who is been serving this community for many years but also our state senators, sylvia garcia, rs state representative in our city council members. I will turn it over to senator garcia and she will talk about some of the programs in english and in spanish. Thank you for being here and partnering with us. [inaudible conversations] it is important to file your fema claim and report your damage. [speaking in native tongue] it is important that we do this because it not only helps you today but it helps us later when were trying to get federal dollars and can see that there was damage and we will need more dollars next time. It helps document. [speaking in native tongue] there is so much damage everywhere and people are hurting and we need those dollars. Please do that and let us know today what else you are meeting so that we can try to address it. We will be helping everyone whether you are here or from mexico or wherever you are from. We are here to help everybody. [applause] [speaking in native tongue] if you dont have to wait for a fema inspector, just take pictures, shoot that video, use your cameras and documented because you got to have proof that you were damaged otherwise you wont get help. Please do that and thank you again to the church for letting us be here. [speaking in native tongue] [applause] another thing fema did this thing and a church on 45 south and if anyone in your family has a Social Security number that is how you can access fema. If your child has a Social Security number that is how you can do it. Be prepared that fema will ask you that when your signing it in. Again, a lot of the information and a lot of the help you can get you dont need to have a fema account but you can get commodities here already. Like i said, if any child or adult in the household has a Social Security number, you qualify. [speaking in native tongue] as long as you have one person in the household with a Social Security number that is enough. Dont worry about it again. All you need is one. Now we will hand out the numbers and you will be called in number order so i will start up here at the front. Keep that number and you will be called in order to give early if you need to meet with the fema representatives. Stay in line and get that number. [inaudible conversations] [background noisess] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [background noises] [inaudible conversations] our goal is to make sure that no chair is not filled.
