Booktv recently visited capitol hill to ask members of congress what they are reading this summer. This has been a busy summer but as we look at it, some of the things ive been reading the one for fun and one as it relates to my work which is called talking to terrorists and it is a lengthy book that was written by a Georgetown Professor and the wife of a previous ambassador who got in and did interviews the number of reservists and extremists so he gives you a birds eye view of some of the motivations behind some of the horrific things that we see today. So i felt like it was at least worth going back and concentrating on that one particular book to try to understand whats going on in our world. Outside of that, theres a couple of great books that really are more of a fun read. One in particular is the book about the Wright Brothers being from north carolina. We have determined is history that we shared with ohio and a number of other places with regards to the Wright Brothers. He does a great job of bringing history alive so there it is that what are some of the others i look forward to spending some great time this summer doing that. Additionally her book stonewalled this fascinating when it comes to really holding the government accountable and serving on the other side of the reform committee.
