Social security is heading torry fiscal cliff in the middle of the next decade but there are ways to do it and probably not by cutting foreign aid. Its too small a piece of the budget. Now when you got people who are sort of on team trump and are and will testify, we dont know what we will hear from them. That trial is still a ways away and it could certainly mix things up when it around. I dont want to speculate whether it would be good or bad for him because its such a curveball. Host you wrote a piece in the Washington Examiner about nikki haley and how she is turning to surge in the polls. Whats going on with that and how are her opponents trying to go after her . Guest nikki haley was sort of stagnant when she entered the race. When she got on the debate stage, she performed well and was well received. It was relatively unexpected. She had lower expectations than ron desantis for example. She began to surge. She is still not anywhere close to donald trump just to keep that in context. But she is showing an upward trend which a lot of people are not. That has sort of resulted in some attacks, putting her as a moderate, painting her as a centrist, something that will not bode well for a republican primary electorate. You dont want to be voting for someone that is seen as a weak republican. You had tim scotts super pac telling donors she is a moderate and shes not going to win and shes a moderate. Amid the mudslinging between her and ron desantis this past week, to santos pretty much called her a moderate. And that she was being politically correct to appease both the left and the media. Thats a pretty big claim when youre talking about the republican primary election. One candidate i think of that seems to be different is ravine quorum swami roddick ramaswamy. I almost think Governor Ron Desantis is trying to show some kind of difference with those opponents. He made this big call for no refugees from gaza. He challenged his opponents to comment on this and explain their own stances. He successfully forced many of them to address it including nikki haley. He even was able to take her response and attacker for not fully addressing it and claiming she wanted refugees in the country. She came out and said she is not for accepting refugees from gaza. His response has been a lot centered on himself, saying this wouldnt have happened under me, it has to do with prisoner swap deal that biden did with iran. What is the significance of those numbers . Its incredibly significant because its so close that its practically too close to call. They been tied on several measures there. Thats a state that could decide the election. Even michigan is very close and arizonas very close. Its really shaping up to be a tight race.
