Announcer president elect, joe biden, and his wife, jill biden, at the Korean War Memorial in philadelphia. [indistinct speaking] i am ob the board of the korean memorial here. Im going to ask the color guard to post their colors. [indistinct speaking] [marching] halt 82nd airborne to help lead me in prayer. I want to start off with god in your heart. Honoring the men and women, hands,sed their right as they have defended this great nation and our constitution. We thank them and their families for their Unselfish Service to preserve our freedom. And our safety. Bless them through hardship, the struggles they have faced, and sacrifice they have made, and for the continued service they rendered to our nation. So we ask you to watch over our veterans, our military, our nation, and its leaders, and bless all with peace and happiness. This, we ask, in your name, lord, amen. I will now ask our mentor, our marine corps veteran sergeant to lead us in the pledge of allegiance. May everybody join in. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of america. And to the republic for which it stands, one nation under god, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all. To our president elect and first lady elect, joe and jill biden. [cheering and applause] if anyone understands, its this family. Their son, think about it, joined the military. Who does that now . A veteran in this family here. Its my honor, i will be presenting the first wreath. In their memory and all those others who did not come home, a moment of silence, please, which will be followed by taps, led by John Halligan of the Philadelphia Police department. And then, a gun salute from the honor guard from the police department. So again, join me in a moment of silence. Ready, aim, pull. Ready, aim. Ready, aim.
