I know it is a hot day, and we appreciate you being here. We are running a little late. We also appreciate our Vice President here on a hot day. He can take the heat. I want to thank you all. Knowhe people in america what the thin blue line means. It means the Police Across the nation on the difference between our safety and chaos. I want to thank every single one of you getting up every day and protecting our communities. I want you to know you have a president , a Vice President , and u. S. Senator that recognizes the sacrifice you make and will do everything we can to protect you. I want to thank you all for being here today, and i want to get the Vice President on the stage quickly before quickly. Before i do, i want to introduce the president of the Southern StatesPolice Benevolent association for a few comments and introduction of our Vice President. Thank you. [applause] i would like to thank you for being here. My name is kris jenner. Im here on behalf of 60,000 lawve or retired enforcement or Correctional Officers that we represent throughout the southeastern United States. Honorede are proud and to announce our endorsement of donald trump and Vice President michael pence. In times when many are in the Law Enforcement profession, it is important to know that they are not alone out there. The president and Vice President understand and appreciate the sacrifice and honor it is to serve as Law Enforcement officers. We are convinced they recognize Law Enforcement officers are vital to the strength, stability of our communities. We are great for their steadfast steadfast commitment to law order. We support them because we know they continue to support us. With that, i would like to introduce Vice President michael pence. [applause] smile and from her head. I said hey now. Maybe shes [inaudible] i said hey, whats your name, baby . [inaudible] v. P. Pence on behalf of the Southern States of the police association, we are here to endorse President Donald Trump and want to present this black to Vice President pence for the unwavering support of the men and women in the Law Enforcement profession. You are we are grateful to your steadfast commitment to law and order and appreciate the commitment you have shown to Public Service who puts their lives on the line to protect our communities. Enke. [applause] thank you. [applause] hello, North Carolina. [crowd cheering] senator tom tillis, richard hudson, to congressman mark walker, took dan bishop, and craig murphy to dan bishop my greatmurphy, it is honor to be here and except the endorsement, on behalf of the president of the United States, of the 60,000 men and women of the Police Benevolent association of the Southern States. [applause] i want to thank you all for being here. I especially want to thank the cops for trump that are with us here today. But i am here for one reason and one reason only. That is that North Carolina and America Needs four more years of President Donald Trump in the white house. [cheering and clapping] for all the support we have received around the country, and i know i speak for your senator and these great congressman, to have the support of men and women who serve on the thin blue line of Law Enforcement means so much. Particularly in the challenging time when we see violence overtaking the centers of our major cities. Now, more than ever, the American People are grateful for those who serve on the thin blue line, and President Trump and i will always stand with the men and women of Law Enforcement, just as your standing with us. [applause] the president was in North Carolina just yesterday, and i am happy to be here today. The president was in wilmington, dedicating the firstever American World war ii heritage. It was an epic event. There, the president said we will uphold the rule of law and defend the American Dream for every child in our land. That is what the men and women of Law Enforcement do every day. The truth is that the people of North Carolina understood this president s leadership early on. Four years ago, you believed we could be strong again. You believed we could be prosperous again. The people of North Carolina said yes to President Donald Trump in 2016, and i know, with the support of these great men and women in Law Enforcement, thats North Carolina will say yes to President Donald Trump in 2020. [applause] the truth is, the choice in this election has never been clear. The stakes have never been higher. Inent donald trump President Donald Trump, you have a leader committed to law and order, liberty, and life. On the other psych, a Democratic Party that has literally been overtaken by the radical left. Higher taxes, socialized medicine, abortion on demand, open borders, and advocating cuts in Law Enforcement at a time of rising violence in our city. So we have to decide right here and now, all across the state of North Carolina, that we will reelect President Donald Trump for four more years. We will recognize the road to victory starts right on tobacco road here in North Carolina. [applause] this week, our president demonstrated his commitment to those of you who serve and protect every day. After a difficult week in kenosha, wisconsin, the president traveled there to a city torn to sunder, businesses destroyed, and burnt down, families displaced. He went there to say thanks to the courageous men and women of Law Enforcement and the National Guard in wisconsin that stepped up and did their job. I promise you this president , this Vice President will always stand for law order for every city in every town in every state in america. [applause] you, in this freedom loving states, President Trump and i will always stand for the right of americans to peaceful protests. But rioting and looting is not peaceful protests. Burning businesses is not free speech. Harming innocent civilians and howenforcement is not americans express their sentiment. Those who do these things will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. [applause] too many heroes have died defending our freedom for us to allow americans to strike down each other in our streets. Inwill have law and order every city in this nation and will restore law and order for every american of every race and creed, and color, so help us god. [applause] assure you that your president knows, and this Vice President knows, that the overwhelming majority of men and women that serve in Law Enforcement are the best people in this country. While some in the other party say Law Enforcement is the problem, we know the Law Enforcement is the solution. The contrast in this election could not be more clear. You have a president who stands without a policy for the men and women of Law Enforcement. Joe biden says america, in his words, is systemically racist. Has, as heorcement said and i quote, an implicit bias. He even went on to say well armed Police Become the enemy when confronting lawlessness in our streets. When joe biden was asked whether he would support cutting funding to Law Enforcement, he replied, yes, absolutely. Ets me make you a promise under President Donald Trump, and our administration, we will always stand with the men and women who serve in Law Enforcement. We are not going to defund the police. Not now, not ever. [applause] for months, all we heard from joe biden and the Democratic Party was talk about peaceful protests as they watched businesses and communities in major cities burn. The joe biden we know got out of his basement this week. He went to pennsylvania, after months of staying silent after rioting, looting, and violence in the streets of our city, joe biden said we have to stand against violence in every form it takes. That, he he said criticized Law Enforcement. Theever mentioned anarchists and leftwing mobs that have been sewing violence in the streets of our major city. He never condemned antifa. He never called out his campaign were or running mates that raising money to bail out violent criminals. Joe biden never called out democrats mayors or democrat governors who have failed to quell the violence. In their cities and states. The truth is, joe biden would double down on the policy that have led to policies that have led to violence in american cities. The hard truth is you wont be safe and joe bidens america. America. Bidens President Trump and i have been standing with the men and women of Law Enforcement with more resources and more support than ever before. [applause] made Resources Available to fund more than 4000 new Police Officers through the cops program. In the wake of the murder of george floyd that took place in minneapolis, minnesota, it was this president to sign an executive order thats called on congress to work with us to provide more resources to Law Enforcement, for better training and better accountability. In july this year, President Trump announced what we are calling operation legend, a surge of federal Law Enforcement taking place in cities across this country. Cities that have experienced enormous surges in violence, crime due to bad government and motivated by the defunding efforts we are seeing by the radical left. And supported by their allies in the democratic ready. Party. The reality is that we have made progress. We have made progress. Operation legend today has already made more than 1000 arrests, including 90 homicide suspects, and we are going to provide support through operation legend to support law order to cities across this nation law and order to cities across this nation. [applause] operation legend was named after louisville. A fouryearold africanamerican name legend. In kansas city, missouri. Legend was gunned down in his home while he slept in the middle of the night. The night before, he had literally built a pillow fort with his dad and was sleeping in that forte. When he was struck. They rushed him to the hospital, but it was too late. Fero died ofd tali his injuries. I want to make you a promise. It is a promise that i know cops for trump, men and women of Law Enforcement every day, we are not going to allow little legend to have died in vain. We are going to work every day to make our cities and the nation safe again for our children, and children and families, so help us, god. [applause] you will know in North Carolina what the president and i know. Despite the language of Democrat Party leaders in the radical left, well have to choose between supporting Law Enforcement and supporting our africanamerican neighbors and other minorities that live in our cities. Both and will continue to do both for four more years. This president has supported opportunities, educational toys, supported record investment in jobs in our inner city, which supported record investment in historically black colleges and university. In our first three years, we saw the lowest unemployment recorded ever for africanamericans. For four more years, the best is yet to come for our africanamerican families, and we will do all of that while we support the Law Enforcement at every level. [applause] but what brings me here today, and i will let these extraordinary officers get out the sun, is just too just to say thank you. And not just for this endorsement. 60,000 members of the Southern StatesPolice Benevolent association. Support means more to this president and Vice President that i can possibly express. Once itsncoln said only ambition in life was to be the steam esteemed by those he esteemed. So to have the support of men and women who literally put your lives on the line every day means more to us than i can possibly ever express. Is, each of the matter one of few make it possible every day for the greatest nation on earth to thrive. You are what separates us from chaos and makes this nation thrive. In these challenging times, it how you have protected and served. In the midst of this coronavirus pandemic is allowing North Carolina and america to recover more every day. I will make you one more promise. This president and Vice President , our administration, the senator and these great members of congress will always stand with the men and women of Law Enforcement. We will always back the blue. [applause] so thank you for your support. [applause] so thank you for your support. I hope you leave here today confident of our support for you. I hope all of these courageous Law Enforcement officers know that when they strap on that side arm in the morning and put on that uniform, they walk out to that squad car, go with fidence of their president car, they go with confidence of their president. No matter what you see in the residential debate, you will also go with the support and prayers of the vast majority of the American People who know those of you that have answered the call to serve in law toorcement cited long ago count our lives more important than your own. Thatood book tells us those who protect and serve our servants for good who do not bear the sword in vain. We know what that means. We know the risk that entail the work you do. President ,lf of our our entire administration, not just thanking you for your support, more importantly, thank you for your service. Thank you for your courageous service. Womend bless the men and who serve in Law Enforcement here in North Carolina and across america, each and every day. May god bless the people of North Carolina. Support i know we will reelect senator tom tellis to a republican majority in the senate and we will reelect congressman bishop, walker, hudson, and murphy to a new republican majority in the house of representatives. With President Donald Trump in the white house, for four more years, we will make America Great again. Again. [applause] thank you very much. God bless cops for trump and america.
