What Republican Voters are upset about is the constant overemphasis of the peaceful nature of the protests and downplaying of violence they see daily in most television media. That is a regular meeting you see in republican internet circles, khairat or screenshot that protests are wrapped in violence, and you see fire in the background of the person. Republican voters want somebody who will come out and say it is never ok to break the law, 100 . Full stop. And do it in a language that makes the people who are perpetrating these violence is perpetrating this violence recognizing that person making the statement has no sympathy for them and characterizes them is what they are, lawbreakers. That is what george is calling on them to do, to make a did not see a people who are throwing molotov cocktails, taking people out of cars and killing them and destroying peace and law order in neighborhoods across the country, and say you are ugs, ands, th areide the law while people peacefully protesting and say that if you stand outside the law, i cannot stand on your side. Henry i was very let down by the president s speech. He did many of the things he needed to do to excite the republican base. Timespaceit in a that was about twice as much as he should have. This year length of the speech will weaken its impact among the republican base. And he also needed to reach beyond the republican base. 43 of america makes you a millionaire in the private sector but makes you a loser in politics. That is where President Trump has continued to balance himself, messaging to a minority base. There were some overtures in the beginning the who set when he said democrats and independents and whoever stands with this cause, but he needed to speak much more to them than to the base. And the speech was very uneven. It wouldve benefited from an editor who said every second word goes.
