Yet some democrats and some in the media continue to ignore reality. As portlands democrat mayor ted wheeler tweeted, what i saw last night was powerful in many ways. I listened, heard, and stood with the protesters. And i saw what it means for forces. O send in thats what he said in the middle of a riot. That is appalling. Mayor wheeler is clearly failing at his duty to protect his treats and his city in portland. The federal government has a sworn duty to uphold the laws of the United States through field offices and federal facilities across the country. These agencies protect and serve the american people. Yet the rhetoric undermines our justice system, antipolicy calling them storm troopers nancy posey calling them storm Nancy Paul Losey calling them nancy pelosi calling them storm troopers. Rhetoric like this cannot set us back. Have beenofficers faced our officers have things like rioters trapping officers inside, a mortar fire work, federal agents hand impaled by nails, another was shot with a pellet gun and tragically, three federal officers were likely left permanently blinded by the writers using lasers pointed directly at their eyes. Because the bases are not known for the generals they are named after. They are known for the heroes within it, the great americans of every race who died on behalf of this country. If a school is closed, the child loses the opportunity to receive education. I put up the chart that shows the student most impacted is the low income student who is in a low Income Community and doesnt have the resources as some other students. That student should not be deprived of an Educational Opportunity and never be able to recover the deficit that the child has had by being out of school for an entire year or more. Reporter but the ones in underserved committees communities are the ones with terrible ventilation. They need the most money for upgrading. If this is shifted away from schools, how will they ever get into a situation where they could, in a case of a pandemic, properly serve their population .
