Last summer a number of us went 400hana to observe the anniversary of the first slaves coming across the atlantic. That tragedy, that tragedy, that harar of history that thenr of history, and slavery in our own country and the consequences of that, we are here to observe that pain. We are here to respect the factions the actions of the American People to speak out against that specifically manifested in police brutality. We are here to honor guard floyd. It seemed a hardly long time. It it seemed day horribly long time. It felt terrible to get even an inkling for how this man suffered. Every american should try to stand for 8 minutes and 46 seconds to try to imagine george floyd the pain of george floyd and the pain of racism. When we gather in this halt we usually begin with the pledge of allegiance, ending with those four words, justice for all. Today as we stand in silence, rather than a spoken pledge, let us reflect on those words, justice for all.
