If democrats want to nominate keepne who can beat trump, nancy pelosi as speaker, hold the house of representatives, take back the u. S. I saw a few days ago in a town southn cnn in charleston, carolina, you know, a gentleman spoke up or reverend, he stood and he asked me a question in that town hall, his name is anthony thompson, whose wife myra, was studying the of her bible with eight other parishioners, with mother 4 1 2 years ago. Study. Their weekly bible and, you know, a white in, they werealked trying to find purpose in faith and in each other. Nd in an instant, in an instant, what happened. Vengeance pierced their faith. They are lost forever. Incredible about that congregation, whats most thompsone, is reverend and the families of emmanuel is that through their pain for gave. We went back to that church and with every day thats passed, every season thats passed, they have gotten up and been able to get up, because we learned, and im not proselytizing, im not trying to faith, e any particular but it was faith that got us back up. To ow youre not supposed this. Bout mra [applause] but every day, every season passed, you know, what i learned, and a lot of you have or worse gh as much than i have been through in your family life, losing children and things like that, but, you know what . You find out what i found, and thats why i went back to the church, i think we all have to hink about this, back to their church, is that i found the only real loss is to find purpose. Find purpose. Are worthyhings that of the blessings to live in this remarkab emarkable country and the things that you hope and pray, that what you lost would be proud of you for doing. In this room, in this gymnasium, have lost a child, father, brother, sister, look around, anywhere from half people have been through that. You know what im talking about. Have been ople through a lot worse than i have been through without any kind of family that i had. Point is. This youre the reason im in this race. Tonight andyou here the country, because the days of Donald Trumps the iveness end. Concern, no hy, no ability to understand what people are going through. End. Has to come to an because its not who we are. Havese the American People seen the alternative. Thats why were going to be able to change this. They now know, they now know, people get o ways inspired. By inspirational leaders from to oln all the way through obama, or by really bad people. Dont seem to have and honor f decency and compassion. What . The days of donald trump have, n fact, made people realize we cant go on like this.
