Witnesses testifying this week including three individuals who listened on that july 25 phone call between President Trump and president zelensky at the heart of the impeachment inquiry. She served as a Foreign Service officer in the united kingdom, lebanon, and jamaica and one of those who listened on the july 25 phone call. She will be seated alongside. Lexander of inman vindman he is an army lt. Col. Deployed to iraq and awarded a purple heart. He also listened on the july 25 phone call and some more background, he emigrated to the u. S. When he was 3 emigrated from the ukraine and is fluent ukrainian. Both of those folks will be on the 2 30 panel. Republican requested witnesses approved by adam schiff, including kurt volker along with rick perry. And and three amigos. He gave the first testimony when he testified behind closed doors on october 3. He is one of the republican requested witnesses alongside tim morrison who served as a top ukraine official on the National Security council. Latesigned his position in october. One of the 3 republican requested witnesses. We will be looking all morning for tweets and comments from the president s twitter page, members of the House Intelligence Committee, but they started yesterday trying to set the tone for today and frame what folks will hear. Also yesterday after the Intelligence Committee announced that david holmes had been added to the witness list, adam schiff releasing the deposition from his testimony behind closed doors late last week, giving a link to his twitter page. This is some of the points of that deposition from the testimony that has gotten a lot of attention within the past 18 hours or so fromdavid holmes lmes deposition, i could hear the president s voice through an earpiece. The is the quote from colleague letter. The facts are uncontested that the president abused his power for his own personal political benefit at the expense of our National Security interest. The weak response has been let the election decide. The dangerous position only adds to the urgency of our actions because the president is jeopardizing the integrity of the elections. Lindsey graham going on to say he will be appearing before the Senate Committee in december where he will deliver a detailed report of what he found along with recommendations as to how to make systems better. The temporary spending measure extends patriot act surveillance provisions set to expire december 15 by three months through march 15. It is expected that continuing resolution has the support of leadership in the house and senate and republican and democratic leadership, but it is no done deal and there is opposition.
