I would tell the right honorable gentleman i think its important, it is possible of course because please dont take the position up until one the ft of november in terms of the presidency of the commission. It is of course possible that we will have indeed love the European Union at that point but i would want to see a president of the European Commission and, indeed, i said to members of the European Council who continue to want to work to find an arrangement between, for the relationship between uk and the European Union in the future that is a positive one, constructive one, enables us to live with our near neighbors in a way which is to the advantage and the benefit of both the United Kingdom and the European Union. We have been highly regarded around that eu table. I want to see us continue to be able to have a relationship with the eu in the future. But not only see as having greater independence outside the European Union but able to attribute to work with our partners in the European Union on the challenges that we are faced with issues like Climate Change are not restricted to one country or to one grouping of countries. These are issues for us all and we want to continue to work constructively and to maintain the high regard with which the uk has always been held.
