We should all be able to agree that we need to protect our democracy and with a sense of urgency. This is not a partisan opinion. Nothing less than our National Security is at stake. That is why democrats first act was to enact hr one which would help secure our elections. Now, House Democrats are building on that progress with the securing americas federal elections act. It takes Decisive Action to secure our federal elections from outside interference and rings our security into the 21st century. Makes investments to upgrade the security of voting systems across the country by replacing outdated Voting Machines, requiring paper ballot voting systems and enacting Strong Security requirements for vendors and voting systems. Represents a critical step to safeguarding our infrastructure and protecting the ballot and the democracy. The president actively invites foreign interference and refuses to hold russia accountable.
