Ms. Sanders good afternoon. The president a couple of dates. Has been briefed on the shooting at Marshall County high school in kentucky. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families they are and we offer sincerest appreciation to the heroic Marshall County deputies who apprehended the shooter. A few more updates before we bring up a couple special guests. I would like to leave no doubt what the white house stands on the flight graham agreement on immigration reform. Two bipartisan meeting here weeks ago we outlined a path forward on four issues. Endous Border Security, an to chain migration, cancellation of the outdated and unsafe these a lottery in a permanent solution to daca. Grahamnately the flake agreement does not meet these benchmarks. Secure ourwould not border, in courage more illegal immigration, increased chain migration and retain the visa lottery system. In short it is totally unacceptable to the president and should be declared dead on arrival. The president has been extraordinarily consistent on immigration and what his priorities are. By the vaste shared majority of the American People and had bipartisan support in the u. S. Senate and house of representatives. Moving along with have some incredible Economic News to share today. J. P. Morgan chase announced this morning that because of the trump tax cut they will raise wages for 22,000 of their employees, create thousands of new jobs and increase Small Business by lending 4 billion. In total is are part of a 20 billion Investment Plan for which j. P. Morgan chase directly credits the passage of the tax cuts and jobs act as well as the president s historic efforts for rolling back job killing regulations. Also disney announced over 125,000 employees will receive a 1000 cash bonus in the cup and investing 50 million into a new employee education program. Verizon announced today that all their employees other than top management will receive 50 shares of stock. About 2500 per employee. They will further share in the companys a success. The president is only just getting started. Great pleased to see our American Workers and families are already seeing the positive effects of his policies. The president will be traveling to the World Economic forum litter this week so i brought in a couple special guests to preview that trip. Gerry called, who played a major role in attachment from effort. National security advisor general h. R. Mcmaster will distrusts discussed the trip. Then i will be out with more information and to take your questions. Im not a general. Thank you. Good to see everyone. Thank you, sarah. It is great to be here today with general mcmaster, my cohort into briefing you guys. Said we are going to the World Economic forum to share President Trumps economic story and told the world that america is open for business. Inwant the world to invest america increase jobs for hardworking americans. President trumps economic agenda has unleashed the u. S. Economy. His policies have led to a rising stock market, low unemployment and strong gdp growth. The administrations commitment to deregulation and archive thing of copperheads of tax level beve helped Playing Field for our businesses and workers. As a direct result President Trumps tax reform and tax cuts, over 100 policies companies have announced policies that will grow our economy. This story will only get better as we continue to invest and rebuild americas infrastructure. Economic forum we will reiterate americas commitment to domestic and Global Economic growth and prosperity. Strengthen close ties with other World Leaders. And catalyze International Business support for the president s agenda. President trump will reiterate that a prosperous america benefits the world. With the u. S. Grows, so does the world. The president will continue to promote fair economic competition and make it clear that there cannot be free and open trade if countries are not held accountable to the rules. As the president has said repeatedly, america and his administration supports free and open trade, but it needs to be fair and reciprocal. We will now share a little bit about the present schedule and the economic agenda then i will hand it over to general mcmaster to discuss our Security Priorities at the World Economic forum and the president s meeting with World Leaders. The president arrives thursday morning local time in switzerland. On thursday he will have a variety of meetings with World Leaders and a quick meeting with the founder of the World Economic forum. On thursday night the World Economic forum will host a reception with World Leaders to honor the president. Ther on that night, president will host a small dinner with select European Companies to share our economic Success Story and to encourage them to continue to invest in america. The attendees run companies that have sizable footprints in the United States. They have invested in our economy and we want them to continue to do so and encourage others to join them. The president looks forward to hearing from these ceos and how his administration can help them continue to grow their businesses in the United States. On friday he will have more meetings with World Leaders and then he will deliver his speech which will emphasize everything we have talked about today. Now i will handed over to general mcmaster to talk about the meeting. Hand it over to general mcmaster to talk about the meeting. Gen. Mcmaster the president will use this travel to the World Economic forum to read or written his commitment to be true we beneficial partnerships and as gary said, to fair and reciprocal economic systems. As the president has repeatedly said and has made clear in the National Security strategy, Economic Security is National Security. The president will also use this time in. Host to discuss other National Security issues including the International Effort to denuclearize the korean peninsula, our coalition to defeat isis, our efforts to counter irans destructive agenda to perpetuate violence across the greater middle east, as well as irans Ballistic Missile activity and the fundamental flaws in the iran nuclear deal. On thursday the president will meet with Prime Minister may of the United Kingdom to discuss the conflict in syria, irans destabilizing behavior, waste to discuss shortcomings in that deal, and our shared goal of denuclearizing the korean peninsula. He will also meet with Prime Minister netanyahu of israel to in efforts to reduce irans effort the president will meet with the president of rwanda who is currently the chairman of the African Union to reaffirm the u. S. Africa relationship and discuss shared priorities, including trade and security. He will also meet with the president of switzerland, because host nation for the World Economic forum, to discuss bilateral investment, Economic Growth, and innovation. In all of his meetings the president hopes to increase Economic Opportunities for the American People, to build partnerships to address Common Security goals, and to find new ways of reforming international and regional organizations to make them more effective and more accountable. The president looks forward to a very productive trip on behalf of the American People. Thank you. Mr. Cohn he outranks me, so he said i have to go first. We just had a litany of businesses that are going to give back to the American People. Isnt it unfair to give the president credit for that . They already had that money in their coffers. Are you saying they would have not turned it lose otherwise . Mr. Cohn i would disagree with your premise completely. If they had their money in her coffers they could have done it in the years before. Like,ms like not seems since we passed the tax reform plan all these announcements have been made. If you look specifically at the words in most of these press releases, all of them are regulatoryut the relief, which we saw on the jpmorgan announcement, and we saw the tax plan mentioned directly that companies now feel more comfortable about the economic position they are in, they feel better about the u. S. Economy, they feel more confident about the earnings and they feel the lower tax rate allows them to share more of their potential earnings with their employees. So i think there is a 100 correlation between what we have seen almost close to 200 companies do, and what we have done from a regulatory standpoint and a tax policy standpoint. My followup question, you mentioned north korea, they have said they are in talks with south korea. Has the president s policy led to where we are now and how big a threat is north korea now compared to even three weeks ago . Gen. Mcmaster as president mood has said, it is the president s ability to rally International Support behind the campaign that has made a significant difference. What you see that is fundamentally different from a year ago is the common commitment across all nations that denuclearization is the only acceptable outcome on the peninsula. Second, that the International Community and china in particular does have a great deal of coercive economic power to be able to bring to bear this. And the third element is that everyone recognizes that we cannot repeat the mistakes of the past. To fall for what in the past has been the north korea employee to create the illusion of success in talks and use that to lock in the status quo as the new normal while they continue to pursue these programs with undiminished vigor. So the danger is growing. And i think it is important for all of us to recognize the north korean regime for what it is, and how great a threat this is to the world. Mr. Cohn one other thing, the our wages is obviously coming out of future warnings and stock grants are obviously them making investments in their future. Have one question for you, one for the general. The president is traveling to prevent his America First agenda. Swear in America First agenda with goals of increasing trade . Manyresident has spoken of deals in which the u. S. Is being ripped off and other countries that all ofelieve these negotiations and agreements are inherently zerosum . And that for america to come first, do other countries have to take a backseat, or can an agreement the truly will be t ruly winwin . Mr. Cohn America First is not america alone. I said in our remarks, when we grow, the world grows. We are part of a World Economy and the president agrees. He is going to talk to World Leaders to make sure we all respect each other, by by the laws, we all have free and fair reciprocal trade. If we live in a world where there are not artificial barriers we will all grow and help each other grow. The president truly believes that. He went to the g7, g20, nato, the u. N. He has talked about the physicians consistently. This is exactly what the president is going to talk about at the World Economic forum. There had mcmaster, been reports in the news recently that authoritarian southeast particular asia are using one of the president s favorite phrases, fake news, to describe reporting that is not flattering and reflects poorly on their country , despite being true. President trump has made a point of not publicly talking about things like human rights and freedom of speech, freedom of expression. Is he concerned at all or are you concerned that the president s rhetoric combined with his silence on these issues is creating a climate where authoritarian leaders feel they have free reign to do what they want and the United States will not speak up publicly . Gen. Mcmaster its just not true. Its not accurate that the president has not spoken loudly, both in words and deeds against those who violate human rights. I would ask you to go to his speech he delivered in warsaw where he talked about the importance of individual rights and rule of law. I would say go to the speech in riyadh where he said all nations of the world have to come together to defeat this wicked ideology that perpetuates terrorism. I would say look at his u. N. General Assembly Speech where he to find a sovereignty as strong sovereign nations who respect the sovereignty of the citizens and the sovereignty of their neighbors. Look at his deeds in confronting the most brutal dictatorial regime in the world, north korea. How could that not be a human rights issue . How about when the cerium the Syrian Regime committed mass murder against its own people with the worst weapons on earth . The president struck at that regimes ability to deliver those weapons. How is that not human rights . Look at the cuba policy. When the previous policy had done nothing but strengthen the grip of that authoritarian regime. Nuclear policy which now try to encourage a more pluralistic economy in Different Power Centers in cuba that can better protect the rights of the cuban people. Look at what the president has said and done on venezuela. The list goes on. That thee premise president has not spoken on human rights is demonstrably false in words, but also in deeds. Thanks for the question. You mentioned it wasnt useful to shout. Theres been a lot of talk about you going back into the military. Can you tell us today if you are planning on staying in your current role . Gen. Mcmaster i have a job. It is a tremendous honor to do this job everyday. Dude vance and protect the interest of the American People. To do my best to provide options to our president. It is just with the execution of those decisions. I have a job and it is my intention to go as long and as hard as i can in service of the president and the nation in this job. I was just wondering if you could talk a little mr. Cohn by the way, he does a great job. Forget to aske you if you are staying in your current job, too. Mr. Cohn uh, over here. [laughter] sure int to make understand what goes into the president s decision to go to davos. He is first sitting president to go since 2000. A lot of what this forum seems to be about seems to go against his populist America First agenda. Can you explain this process . Mr. Cohn America First, not alone. Very proud ofis the competency has created his first year on gdp growth, unemployment numbers, the stock market, what we have done in reform, which is an artificial tax on businesses, tax reform. We are competitive today with the rest of the world. We have a tax break that is competitive with the rest of the world. The president is going to davos to speak to World Leaders about moving businesses to the u. S. , hiring American Workers, changing the direction of our economy to be one of the biggest and best in the world. The president has done that, as i said. As he has gone around the world thats what he is talked about. He is firmly committed to being the best salesperson the u. S. Has to drive Economic Growth and drive prosperity and drive a better quality of life for american citizens. You talked a great deal about some of the positive economic numbers. Can i give you the grill down on workforce Participation Rate . Back in june of 2017. What can or is the administration do to get that number up to 70 , 75 or higher . Mr. Cohn i talked about the first friday of every month when the unemployment number goes out. Disappointinglly moments of the unemployment fivets, for the last years. No wage growth in the United States and our Participation Rate has remained stagnant at best. Plan wasur tax reform to get people back into the workforce. We need to create more jobs. By creating a tax system that allows us to compete globally with the rest of the world, we are now at a 21 corporate rate, now at a very effective rate for personal businesses that allows them to compete with the rest of the world. We can now compete. When you compete against the rest of the world, you grow your business and hire people. When you hire people you compete for labor. When you compete for wager you compete for wages. We need to see wage growth in this country, something we have not seen in almost a decade. As we see wage growth we will make it economically realistic for people to come back into the workforce. He will make sense for them to come back into the workforce. The alternative cost will be way too high once we start seeing wage growth. The big catalyst for everything we are doing is to create a better jobs, higher paying jobs, bring more people into the workforce and grow our economy and tax a broader base. Thats exactly what our premise is based on and so far the very early data looks very good. So we are excited about where we are going. The president announced new tariffs and the Prime Minister of canada also announced a big trade. What d. C. To critics who argue the president is giving up the United Statess seat at the global table . Mr. Cohn i disagree. Today the president announced the culmination of something thats been going on for a long time. These are individual companies that tried various remedies. Its extraordinary what is companies had to go through to try to protect american jobs and American Workers against unfair practices from other countries. So, you finally see Companies Bring cases in a bipartisan system. They go through the system, it ustrup to the ustr, the makes a recommendation based on the bipartisan committees recommendation and the president makes a final ruling. The president made a ruling that will make the u. S. Competitive and help us grow our economy. It just so happens on the washing machine side, both of the companies that had been creating enormous problem for the u. S. Manufacturers of washing machines are going to open up manufacturing facilities in the u. S. Hiring over 16 hundred workers. Thats exactly what the president wants to see. You want to secret Companies Moving to the u. S. To bring we are getting the outcome we want to get. On the solar panels, he left enormous amount of latitude in that decision that where we actually have a business, which is making the panels, not the protectings, we are our panel makers because we do make panels here in the United States and we should continue to make panels and hire more workers in the u. S. On having candidates take a lead on a big global trade deal and the u. S. Pulling out of are you not concerned about giving up the United States . Mr. Cohn the president said this through his asia trip, he said it in europe we are very open to free, fair reciprocal trade. If you treat us one way we will treat you the same way. If you have no tariff we will have no tariff. If you have tariff we should have a reciprocal tariff. It is hard to argue against that. Thats our trade policy and we are going to keep going on that. President ago at davos she made a big splash internationally. Xi made a big splash internationally. Is President Trump going to make any effort to counter that . Its his appearance here any effort to counter that . Mr. Cohn the president s appearance is there to sell his accomplishments to remind the world that we are open for business, that we are a competitive country, that we havent made have made america competitive. What we have accomplished and what we are going to continue to accomplish. Are having dinner with our europeanbased companies with large precence in the u. S. The president wants to hear what they need to have more business in the u. S. He is doing exactly what he should be doing to grow our economy and create jobs in the u. S. About china and the influence ofis exerting now, a lot people observing it is exerting because the u. S. Is pulled back from a lot of these. Mr. Cohn the u. S. Is pulling back from nothing. When the president was in asia he talked about trade agreements and his willingness to have bilateral trade agreements with many of the countries he visited in asia. We are more than willing to have bilateral trade agreements. Let me get behind you. I would like to get both of you to talk about it. About the africa meeting. It deals with economics come in National Security as well as immigration. In light of all the controversy over immigration in the alleged racist comments that were made. Can you both talk about that. And how are you trying to quell the upset over the last week . Gen. Mcmaster the president will be building on the was a very successful meeting on African Leaders undecided the you in General Assembly late last year. The u. N. General Assembly Last year. The president laid out a very clear direction from a relationship with key african nations in particular. The need is obvious for us to Work Together on issues of security. Our interests overlap completely. They are attending to polarize a society and create violence that is a grave threat to security and also prosperity as a result. And our interests overlap in encouraging American Investment in africa and African Investment in the United States. The president and administrative agreed have laid out a very clear vision for how we want to evolve our economic relationships and our Development Initiatives in africa in particular, in the National Security strategy. Africa is the Perfect Place for us to transition from just delivery of assistance to robust trade and economic relationships that benefit the people of the United States and the people of africa. As you know, there have been successfully tremendous programs. It shows the power of when the u. S. Works with key African Leaders and communities to take on threats that are health involved, but also you see tremendous Security Cooperation in relationships over time. Theres a lot they are going to be able to talk about, especially because resident could dominate is going into the african it will be a discussion about how to advance a mutual agenda between the african continent and the u. S. How would you characterize the relationship with britain at the moment . Is the decision of the president to pull out of his trip to the u. K. Next month will there be a press arrangement made for a visit to take place in the foreseeable future . Gen. Mcmaster of course he is prioritizing his meeting with president with Prime Minister may because its a special relationship. It is how we Work Together on every issue. It is very, very hard to find any place where our interests do not overlap almost completely with that of the United Kingdom. We are working together in a very effective manner. At the u. N. , for example. Sense, lateral accents as well. You can imagine what those are. Obviously theres no diminishment, only growth in strength of our relationship and cooperation with a great ally. Have you pulled out . You mentioned the president wants bilateral trade agreements, he has made pretty clear he doesnt like multilateral ones. Can you tell us which Bilateral Agreements are in the works right now . Mr. Cohn we have the ambassador working on a bunch of different agreements as we speak. He is also involved in nafta. Nafta renegotiation. Also having conversations with korea enrico renegotiating some of the terms in korea. So he has got a lot on his plate. There are some discussions we are starting to work on. Im not going to. Im going to let the ambassador handle his negotiations in the fashion he wants to handle them. When he thinks it is time to make them public, he will make them question make them public. Last question. You are going to be a hotbed of globalization tomorrow in davos. You are going to get questions about tariffs. Just hurting American Consumers who want to buy washing machines or solar panels . They are going to pay a higher price at the store when they do that. How do you answer that criticism . Mr. Cohn on the washing machine both ofn, as we said, these companies are opening manufacturing plants. One could be open in the next 30 days or less, which will hire 1000 new employees. So they will be manufacturing washing machines here in the United States. We do have a very large thomistic manufacturer of washing machines. When we have looked at it and studied extensively, i said this is a very rigorous process that went through a bipartisan committee. They rated they made a recommendation. Then the trade ambassador held hearings as well. He made a recommendation, then there were extensive meetings with the president. The president understands that and the importance of the economy and the price of consumer goods to consumers. So we have taken that all into account as we made the decisions. The president cares enormously about growing the economy in keeping the economy on the right track and making sure our consumers have the best opportunity possible. The also cares very much but the workforce in the u. S. And making sure we create a job environment and workforce participation and wage growth. We have to get both of those right and it is something we are committed to doing. Thank you very much. You have been to davos a lot over the course of your career. The president i dont believe has been there before. What is one thing you think he will find their that he wont expect . Mr. Cohn a lot of snow. 14 feet of snow. [laughter] thank you. Ms. Sanders thank you. Before we get started with questions, i have a story i would like to read and then deliver a special message from the president. Andy, an inspiring family brave little girl from texas are facing a challenge inspiring your friends and neighbors and now hopefully an entire nation. Nineyearold sophia suffers from a rare disease that causes the blood vessels in her brain to narrow and close. Conditions ago this severe and she was left partially paralyzed. She has undergone numerous surgeries but faced east one faced each one. When doctors told her she would never walk again she dismissed them. If you are only going to talk about what i cannot do that i dont want to hear it, she said. Not only that she try, she succeeded, leaving her doctors dumbfounded. When asked how she was doing she said because i am awesome. Of 2016,e holidays sophia had more strokes but you kept fighting. A neurosurgeon told her mom this little girl has god on our side. These experiences led her mom to realize her daughters incredible faith could have a profound impact on others. In a world where things are so bad and ugly, so much loss of faith, she said people needed to hear sophia is a story so they can hear undergoday sophia will brain surgery at Boston Children hospital and she has a request. She has asked the world to come together and pray for her on the date of her surgery. Mind that men creating a goal of reaching 10,000 people. We want to make sure she gets that and far exceeds it. Today im here to tell you millions of people from every corner of the world will be praying for you. Among those will be all of us here at the white house including President Trump. He told me to cut you to keep fighting, never give up, and never lose faith in god. With him, all things are possible. Thought that was very inspiring. A great message for all of us to remember. Thank you sophia for your strength and reminding us of that today. With that, i will take your questions. Given how far apart the parties are on the immigration deal, how hard will it be to get a deal done by february 8 . Ms. Sanders i dont think they are that far apart. You saw perfect example for them to come together and talk about a lot of things. There are a couple places where everyone agrees. Daca is something both republicans and democrats, house and senate all want to find a solution to. Border security, democrats may not agree on the exact amount, but they certainly a greater is a need for that and their willingness to do that. A lot of these individuals have voted for ending chain migration, ending the visa lottery system in the past. So i think that indicates that their willingness and agreement on that issue as well. Are certainly maybe the depth for which we go in each area is part of the negotiation. But there is a lot we agree on and i think if we focus on what we agree on a lot more than what we disagree on, we can have a lot of progress and hopefully get to something that helps everyone. What would the president due to facilitate an agreement . Ms. Sanders he will continue what he has been doing. Yourng to members from republican side, democrats, house and senate. One of the things i think that has been very important in this process and one of the things i think was really important in the shutdown process is the president has laid out exactly what he wants to see. And he has laid out the principles that need to be addressed for a piece of legislation that he is actually willing to sign. And i think that is a huge and first very important step, then he will help facilitate those negotiations as we move forward. The president said nobody knows for sure whether they will be able to reach a deal on daca. Could the house envision a scenario in which the dreamers are supported . Ms. Sanders i think the president has stated what he would like to see happen. At this point the president is toling to sign something find a permanent solution for daca and he has placed the responsibility, which the constitution has placed, and he reminded the congress it is their job to actually get that legislation passed and sent it to him. He is to play a big role in the process, but it is on congress to get that legislation through the bodies and hit the president s desk. The budget director said the president s position on daca depends on what the height the white house gets. Is the white house using these dreamers as a bargaining chip . Ms. Sanders not at all. But you cant fix the problem if you just tinker with the immigration in a small way. We want to make sure were not having this problem and this conversation and fight in four years. We want to address making a permanent solution to dock up and at the same time closing a loophole so we dont have to continue having this battle. We also want to put some things in place like Border Security because if you dont you are not actually solving the problem, you are just making us have to do with it at a later time. This is something thats been in the news quite a bit over the last week. Apparentlyive nunes has mmo created for the House Intelligence Committee describing based on earlier reports of a certain level of what appears to be bias at the b ia. Is it the president s opinion that memo should be released of the American People can see what the House Intelligence Committee has observed . Ms. Sanders we certainly support full transparency and we committee, the house it is up to them to make that decision. We have said many times before on a number of different issues, we certainly support that transparency. There are some members in the house that have some real concern with what is in that memo and feel strongly the American Public should be privy to see it. This point i have not so i will lean on his reliable individuals to go through that process of what that looks like. But again, we support full transparency. Memo isently what the based on his underlying underlying the justice department. Would the president the willing to declassify it so the whole country he could make it himself. Ms. Sanders ive had a conversation with the president. Right now i think is going through the house intel committee. We feel like they should play that role at this point. If it doesnt happen that we can address it. I want to go back to immigration. Theres a group of conservatives in the house who believed to have a bill that fits all the criteria the president laid out. Im wondering what the president s thoughts are on that bill and would he support Congress Passing that . Ms. Sanders i believe that it addresses the principles that we have laid out and would be something that we would support. The president on a few occasions has spoken of special counsel Robert Muellers investigation as a witchhunt. You said the same phrase today when asked a question about it. If mr. Mueller asked the president to submit to an interview, is that something that the president would be open to . Ms. Sanders as we have said probably just about every day this year since we have been here, we are going to be fully cooperative with the special counsel and we are going to continue to do that iraqi process. But we are also not throughout the process. We are also not going to comment but we will be fully cooperative. Witchhunt, as the president said and other members of the administration said . Why doesnt the president just fire Robert Mueller . He has said it is a waste of taxpayer money. In net regard what is he just and the investigation because its wasting the taxpayers money . Ms. Sanders we want to see this come to a complete and full conclusion. I think we all know what everybody in this room would do if the president did that and i dont think thats helpful to the process. The president wants to see this end and wants to see them finally come to the same conclusion that i think most everyone in america has, that there is nothing to this. Most of you have spent the better part of a year looking, digging, obsessing over trying to find something and have yet to find something. A cnn reporter admitted over the weekend when you talk to people about russia and that is all the talk about at cnn they say they dont care because it doesnt affect their lives. Frankly this administration we have said time and time before, there is no collusion, theres nothing to it. We are ready to move on and clearly the American People are as well. I think you are tired of it, too. A couple questions on immigration. He sounded a lot more conciliatory today. When you talk about democrats talking in the past due and chain migration, it was part of a comprehensive bill. You cant just tackle this in a small way. Do you want to have a much bigger bill to solve the immigration problem . Is that what you are talking about . Ms. Sanders as we have said, and the president said at a meeting were evelyn was at the table, we would like tos where everyone was at the table there are other areas we would like to look at. But right now we are focused on making sure these four principles are addressed. You just said he wanted chain migration addressed but the depth could be negotiated. Ms. Sanders no, i said the depth to which we agree. When steve was asking specifically about the differences. Forre you asking for an end chain migration for the president to not support the dreamers . Ms. Sanders yes. If he doesnt get it is he willing to start supporting them on march 5 . Ms. Sanders im not going to debate and negotiate with you. We are going to come up with something that gets us to a place where we and chain migration. Thats one of the end chain migration. Now that we know its important to understand what the president s position is on exactly what went on in the conversation between the two. Is the president saying james comey lied when he said trump asked for his loyalty and suggested he should drop the Flynn Investigation . Ms. Sanders out of respect for the special counsel i will not weigh in and refer you to the council. The president has been public about this. Ms. Sanders i understand but there is nothing else to add at this point beyond his comments. Anything further would have to be directed to the council these missing Text Messages at the fbi he called it one of the biggest stories in a long time. Does he think it is a coverup, or why does he think this is the biggest story in a long time . Ms. Sanders he thinks there is a great cause for concern that five months worth of Text Messages have gone missing, particularly given the individual who is part of that process is already being shown to be extremely biased against involveddent, and was in what seems to be inappropriate behavior. That certainly is a great concern. You guys are absolutely obsessed with everything to do with collusion that has anything to do if the president. We hope you will take the same obsession, energy, and fervor and take it to some of the places where there could have been an appropriate and possibly illegal behavior. Ms. Sanders we have 100 confidence in the director, and if anybody is going to make that decision, it will be the director, and will leave that in his hands whether or not there will need to be changes made. Does the president have any concerns with Andrew Mccabe and identifying tax and other information . Is there something services along with the upper actual on of the fbi . Ms. Sanders we feel that mr. Comey and others have been highly politicized but certainly, more generally speaking, it had become political, and that was one reason why the president wanted director ray there. Someone with impeccable integrity. And if there are changes that need to be made, he will do so. How does he know that director ray will not resign . I havent been part of those, so i cant speak to that. I havent spoken to him, i was part of any conversation. Curious what the conversation was. Because he was concerned about these reports. Ms. Sanders director ray is the head of the top Law Enforcement agency. It is very routine that he would speak to the white House Counsel as well as the attorney general. As i understand it, the conversations have been routine, not whether or not he would keep his position. If anything further, you should ask the department of justice are the fbi. Does the president think that Andrew Mccabe should step down . Concerns ed about does the president have concerned with the current fbi leadership beyond Christopher Wray . Goneanders we havent member by member, but i know the complete has confidence in director wray enable to determine if there are any issues and to make those decisions. In the upper actual on of the fbi . Havent gonei through every Single Person in the top ranks of the fbi.
