As a abolitionist she made her way from new york to ohio and eventually made up to detroit. Before the slaves could find the freedom in canada. She eventually went to ground in michigan where she lived in battle creek. That is where she is buried, we want to have a moment of silence for her. Please come about your head for a moment of silence. Thank you ery much. You did that very well. Isnt he good . We would like to have michigan well. Isnt he good . We would congresswoman . Good afternoon to every fabulous person in this room that came from all over the country. It is so great to be with you. To be able to well come thousands of women to the straight state of ichigan. You are going to notice my voice is a little whatever. With all of you here at my fact no one will ver let me be voiceless. I want to thank everybody who ade today such a success. To the local Host Committee we all know how much work goes into Something Like this. We need to thank every Single Person who ade this what it is today. I need to say what more thing before i get to the crux of my message. I want to give a special message to my congressional colleagues, the fearless and formidable congresswoman Maxine Waters. Can tell you how lucky i am to be able to learn from her. There is no one, no one more willing to call it like it is or speak ruth to power. I would like to make a few observations as we begin this unch session. This is really a important weekend for all of s. In january, we came ogether, women from all over the country and all around the world. To say with one voice we are here, we are united, we are going to be heard. Now it is that time to be smart and take that energy that we had in anuary and turn it into action ith results. Our ower comes from coming together. Women of every age, race and background, the young and the seniors working mothers and stayathome mothers. People who marched for the first time and people who have been marching for progress all their life. They came together to stand up for the comment of use we all share. Fairness, equality, inclusion, the values you values that make up the foundation of this nation. Since january women n this room and thousands more across the country have been strategizing, planning, educating, and mobilizing for progress. We are going to keep marching forward because our values are on our minds. We eed to be scared. The progress f those who went before us are ow on the line. Unfortunately there is so many issues to talk about, i am going to talk about violence against women because it is a issue i have been really talking about a lot lately. It s one we have to shine a light on. We talk about this internationally and we talk about what is happening in these other countries. You notice america has nothing to be proud of, we still have a significant problem. Sadly as more and more women come over to share their stories of Sexual Assault and harassment many think this is a watershed moment. A turning point of unacceptable behavior f men towards women. Regrettably i find the anger inside of me building and i cant squelch down for a long time. I am skeptical i have to tell you if the real changes here for women a community in his country. I thank you for the applause but we really need to talk about this issue. I wonder who voted for the expulsion of mr. Harvey weinstein are moving to fire them or put them on leave for the job are themselves responsible for unacceptable ehavior. They turn blind eye when a woman they knew was being treated despicably. Predators, abusers, manipulators have been around especially against women since the beginning of time. For too long if reporting it made me a troublemaker, how do we change things for working women did . I am going to be short because we need to get on with the program. We need to worry about title nine. Cheap as taking us backwards the victim is not the problem the accuser applause] in m. This environment of increased awareness how do we make real change for women verywhere . That is what this gathering is about. I do not have all of the answers but i know we have to have every omans back. Somebody who is working at a business and we target that and they go out of business, where are the jobs . It starts with us in the room. Et the women who came before us, knock on doors, raise consciousness, we too have a responsibility to our daughters and our granddaughters and women everywhere to not be applause] women need to report omen support women. One woman success as a success for all of us. Celebrate each ther. Our voices are the most powerful tool we have to bring about change. Together our voices are strong, they are mighty and they are impossible given up. Thank you. For congresswoman ebbie dingell. Someone asked the question why would a man support a womans march . National convention three of this is used to organize this note the story because they are here. There is the anniversary of the million man march. I was interviewing her. We were airly finish with the interview and i said you are going to get a series of phone calls from a Television Show and radio show. The reason for that is you have been doing the work that other folks have been alking. I said to the three of them no matter what platform i have, i will put you on those platforms for whatever it is you are organizing. So what they have been doing with the new justice league, i say that because it does not matter if . Does nott because it matter if you are a man. You have to use your platforms for good. So, they know that. Whenever linda or to make a or that carmen call matters because you do not change a system if you are unwilling to stand with others to do so. And there are always haters. I say, if you are not putting in the work, all you are doing is talking and tweeting, then you do not have time to talk and tweet. Some folks want to stop hating and put the work in. Lets introduce our panel. Conciergerch national , carmen perez. Give it up for detroit activist. You have that purple and gold on. Good seeing you. Axt up, pray for him, he is little sad and in pain because my astros beat his yankees. Mark thompson from make it plain. Professor, dr. Kelly hayes. Michaela, time to go to work. Im a black woman ive been at work for generations. Momentwant to take a you ron allen roland, said that when tamika calls, we put in work. I want to ground myself in the sisterhood before i get started talking because she just said, and i showedre . Up. You and i think linda and carmen and you will brought me into this mold, so that is all. We started off with Sojourner Truth. That is the system. Important that we that we are in the scene. We recognize and particularly the opening. Are andnize where we what is happening on this ground. Can you start us off by are . Ding us in where we and what your life is like and what your work is like in this i was not expecting to speak first. We start with the sisters and the elders first. We were raised right. Afternoon, everyone. I am just loving the energy. To do ishonor to speak a special place. There are things that happen in detroit that do not get lifted is a place where we really have deep relationships. That is so important for us, as we think about what this conference is about and where the power of this conference can go. City, troit, the motor detroit, motown. Have a number we. F spiritual leaders that is not necessarily unique, but it is part of our network of power. Coleman where we have young, our first black mayor. Renaissance, aped a in terms of bringing africanamerican people into leadership, with showing their confidence. Detroit has led in so many ways. We have a real, real handle on what it looks like in terms of dealing with White Supremacy. Space, wek at this also need to look at who is not seen. As we are doing the work around water, which is a global issue. Detroit is that the leadership of that, because we have 21 of the world pope and fresh water. A move to privatize water and you are participating in it every time you buy bottled water. Is a syndicr commodity is a commodity. , water is life and we, in detroit, want to make sure that you understand water is life. So, detroit, i want to lift up the fact that it was rosa parks obeying home after she left alabama. I had the privilege of being. Ith her for 33 years in that time. One of the things i want to lift is that sheroit, was dedicated to this city. Arrested, i think it is appropriate in this. Dience when she was arrested, they said it was because she did not give up her seat. She looked at them and said, you may do so, in a soft voice. She gave them permission to arrest her. That is power. Carmen . You treathe said, why us this way . She did not say why did you treat me this way. If we donts that process from the standpoint of we, it is not going to happen. Forth ins we are going terms of me, we will not have that power that we get from the we. The message from rosa parks is important for me to park here for you. We. I wanted her to pass the mic to you. Thesaid White Supremacy in first penalty of we know we are not wasting time. Colorone of the women of in this moment, in the womens becaused making room, we literally see you making room for women of color. When i heard about yesterday, that there was a panel that was pretty much teaching what women how to be good white women, i was at an overpass. I want to give you a hand for doing the work. Its important you learn how to do this work and that there has been women of color, for centuries, doing justice work. We have great blueprint on how to do it. It is time we sharing and teach those practices. Can you talk about that positioning that you are, as being a woman of color in this moment and in this spotlight and what it looks like to make that room . I just want to say hello everyone. Are we excited to be here . Back one second. You said we have to think about the we. That racerecognize lee bond was from detroit. She was the one who said we are the ones we have been waiting for. I want to remind you of that, that no one is coming to save us. It is going to take all of us. Aboutard to your question being a woman of color in this space at this time, i have been organizing for 23 years in different communities around criminal Justice Reform and working inside prisons and Detention Centers with young people and doing gender responsive programs for roles and women as well as doing piecework. Every time i went into committees communities, my biggest goal or outcome was to listen to the community, facilitate a process where i could bring others to work one of the things we did in the gathering for justice as we entered different communities, but build the capacity of the local people to sustain the work. There are moments in which we talk about being at the table. Sometimes, some women of color have to build at the table. We have to be carpenters, get the nails, measure, go get all that stuff. Because there are moments in this movement that there is not room for us. There are movements there are moments when people do not see their liberation bound in our liberation. Organizing in the womens march versus organizing within police brutality, they are different beasts. Miles for 90to 50 days from new york city to d. C. , bringing attention to those who have been killed, particularly black people who have been killed by the hands of police. There was no one funding that work. To what when it came ,appened after november everybody was putting in their money to make sure they were going to be liberated and part of the conversation. So, i see a discrepancy. I see a disconnect. I also see a disconnect when women of color are target of death threats. Because we are talking about being intentional, intersectional and inclusive. Inclusive and intersectional. It also includes men. That doesnt mean that i do not respect your feminism, but, if it does not include muslim women, if it doesnt include undocumented people, if it does folks, thanlgbtqia i do not want to be part of your feminism. I am not here as a representative of carmen perez. I stand on the shoulders of the women who came before me. Like the professor at uc santa barbara. There are people like Harry Belafonte who teaches me every day that those working towards the liberation of our people are subject to support. Those being divisive are part of the enemys game. When i get trolled on the social media because he want to include certain people into the programs and i get told im a fake feminist, you are erasing my existence. Because i am born intersectional. I was born to a mother i did not untilhe label of feminism i went to college. I would hope people understand, as we build together, what the first wave of feminism is. There is the first wave, second. Ave, third wave maybe on the fifth wave. I dont know. We are the waves. But it hope you understand that it has to be inclusive and we have meet people where they are at. Ather more information when we organize the womens march, we understood it was not about attacking one person. It was about attacking the forces of evil. We do not make it about trump. He exists because people voted for him. We are not going after the people who voted for him. We are going to make an agenda. That is what we are here for, to make sure we build so we can build Win Back Congress in 2018, so we can be intentional with the senate, when the next election. Our representatives are fighting for our issues, they sawude all of the folks you on the panel on intersection alley. Hank you what carmen laid out, if you center women of color, we bring everybody with us. Center when i am. Alking to the dnc if you center women of color, we bring everyone with us. I am practicing patience. Real talk. Thatnts with the community is fresh to this fight. I am practicing how to be in solidarity when we just got here. Them . You not attack guys should know. But how should we let them learn from us . Yall better learn quick. For real. We do not have time. You must listen and trust us, trust our women, trust trans women. Just trust us. Because we have been through all of this. We have tools, we have stuff for you. Hayes, first of all, when i say a little idea of the work that you are doing, but also, how can we help you help this movement . I would not have work to do if it wasnt for a woman named piper carter. Where are you, my sister. Stand up, rebecca. Culturalying to study practice as are in politics, where women doing Community Work are doing politics. We do not get known for politics. I am happy i spoke last. White women need to listen. We do not listen a enough, we speak first. We want to help and we do not know what were trying to help. One of the things i want to share with you, that i have learned into my toes is from joe morgan who role a book called when the chicken has come home to roost. One thing out saying, what women do not share with us, is they do not see their white men as brothers. We dont. Theyre the problem. Letterman and men see each other as a community because of white as well as other intersectional forces. And we dont see that must we choose to. Intersection alley means we are not one thing. Our race, age, national affiliations, faith, gender, sexuality. All of that makes us who we are. You cannot pull one out and say i am ginger today. We are fluid creatures. As those creatures, we have to reach for each other, listen to each other. That is what we learned from a piper and the women in hiphop politics. They do what mama soul does and teach as lessons about , white flight coming back and buying up towns, about the people we need to fight. And the conditions they create for themselves, that the rest of us do not have. 83 of detroit is black. Yet, who owns detroit . Who controls detroit . Who controls policy covenants, water, the distribution of resources, the police . Not enough good people. Feminism needs to be at the table. Intersectional, solitary solidarity based intersection alley. Thank you. Past the mic to the brother. Girl, to the eye thank you for what you have done and are doing. I dont have to ask you a question, because youre sitting. Ere as the loan brotherh what does this feel like a . Tell us from your heart. What is standing in this moment . Eel like gecko humbled toored and be in this role. I told tamika i do not know if i am worthy. Let me just say that i am a feminist. Ok. Of what i feel at this moment, my twoparent household consisted of my mother and grandmother. Young, my grandmother said something to me and i did not understand it. She was very beautiful. Most people thought she looked like leno warned. One day we came home from church and she said, mark, every woman you to beoes not want their boyfriend or have a relationship with them. Most women want you to support them and stand for them. Said, every relationship you have with a woman was not always meant to be romantic or sexual. I internalized that but did not know what she meant. Looking back on what we are hearing in the news, today, i have a feeling my grandmother probably had experienced what was always commonplace, if not a cell, there was always harassment. And she came from a generation where you could not talk about that. And she said that to me, randomly, out of the blue and i never forgot it here what i feel, at this moment, when i being theonor of first two step at the microphone the million man mark march, i feel that now. , especially, all of the white women who are here. To the confronting white womanhood discussion yesterday and i have never seen white women admit and talk openly about some of their profiling of us as black men and acknowledging that some of you have clutched your purses when you see me or walked on the other side of the street. So, that was a very powerful thing for me to see. , in terms ofl say intersection alley, what we are witnessing and we have to be careful is we have the Sexual Assault scorecard going on with the media. Omebody, every day but it is deeper than that. This did not start in hollywood. And this is where the unity and intersection alley comes in. America has always been about Sexual Assault. First steppedthe off the boat here and assaulted the native women. It continues throughout slavery. My great, great, great grandmother on the plantation. One black woman got free from slavery, the white man turned on his own women. And they started abuse. Forget about hollywood. The true history of sexual also inSexual Assault started charlottesville, virginia. That is symbolic of the history of Sexual Assault. This man in the white house defends that. As long as as there is someone is ok white house who with a sexual predator, Sexual Assault will never win. Women have the power to get him out. You have the power if you stand next to her, you can get him out. Get him out. There is a decision that we must make today. Every man hearing the sound of my voice should stand next to a woman or get under the sisters and lift them up. Thank you. I guess you all dont mind batman being on the panel. Given up for the rest of the panel. And carmenayes perez. Another round of applause for that panel. You know who we are honoring this afternoon. Our beloved auntie lit, auntie woke, auntie black magic. Before we do that, i was getting all. List, one of the sponsors. Stephanie, where are you. Come through. I was starting to light a fire for you. Are you feeling at . We thank you because you do the work and do it did. Right . Oh my goodness. Good afternoon. It is an honor to be here with you today. Before i get going, we did this earlier, but there was a lot going on. I want all of the women who are ,urrently serving in office city council, county commission, stand up. Anyone serving in office, stand up and be recognized again. Standing. Ing, keep these are our heroes. Hold on. Keep standing. What i want are all of those women out there and i know you are out there you are planning for running for office to stand up. Who are candidates for office right now, stand up. That are the women leading us right now. They need our support. We have got to back each and every one of them up for office. Thank you for running. Thank you for standing up for us. For beingso much brave. At emilys list, we know one thing. One of the most courageous things you can do in a democracy is run for office. Of us to for the rest have these brave womens backs. We are going to be there for you. Thank you so much. I am here to share i want to share a little news with you. This is extraordinary. This they organizations are extra ordinary. The energy on the ground is extraordinary. I want to share one thing that happened at emilys list and i get emotional talking about it. Election, not a high point he. It hurt. I will not get into that because we are moving on. But when i want to say if i was not sure what was going to happen. At emilys list and with women across the country. I should have known better, because we started getting cold calls from women all across the november, saying they wanted to run for office. I have to tell you, this is unusual in midnovember of the election year, to have women cost saying that he want to run for office. Staffers, ior virginia. She said this is interesting. I wonder if they are signing up on the website. So, she finds this link on our website that you have to click through three times to get through. She says i might be interested in running for office, can you tell me when there is a local after thefour weeks election, over 1000 women had clicked that link. I clicked that link. So, ok, we are getting it. There is some energy. When all of you and the incredible organizers of the march took together that moment in our history in january, we thought, lets see if we can do a training and see what happens. 500,e got this room for the day after the march in washington dc. We asked if we could shrink the walls. Women, there00 were nearly 500 women on the waiting list to get into that training because they wanted to run for office. So we wised up and made a challenge and put it out there and said, women of america, you have two choices. Run for office or help a sister run for office. That is how this is going to work. We put that on our website and i am here to tell you that you all of you in this room have put us over a milestone. , over 20,000ek women across the country have raised their hand and said i want to run for office, i need to change the direction of my community, my country. That is the power of this room and this march and everything that you have done. Moment. Extraordinary i am not saying all 20,000 will run in 2018. I am saying, the next decade of leaders have raised their hands to say, we have got to go to new places, new height and make this work for our country. Together, we will do that. Emilys list has tripled the size of our staff. I made sure there was room. We are doing a training this afternoon at 2 00 in this building. But, at the end of the day we have to win. Have to back these women. I ask you to join with us every step of the way. I believe that, the next Elizabeth Warren and Maxine Waters are in this pool of candidates. We are going to make sure that they win. When they do, together, we are going to elect a historic number of women into our legislature, our city council, county commissioners. We will take back the u. S. House of representatives. Donald trump we are coming for you next. Thank you so much. Lets do this together. Lets here for women blowing up walls. Write . In her own dm office. 20,000, i have goosebumps on those numbers. Number have to go back to my auntie moment. You, wanting,ed for being lite, and woke and magical and stylish and unafraid. This is personal. Im going to read you all some receipts later. One, i am going to look right at you to from day one, there was one person swinging for us every day. And you are not being talked about on the news. You are not being talked about when everyone was like where is the d c, the people with the backbone. And i was like, there she is. ,ut, oval bunch of women specifically sisters, lifted you up on the twitter on instagram. We were like, she is our hero, our auntie, our rockstar. If the dnc does not see you, we see you. You. E you, we love you unapologetically made it clear that i am a black woman who has been through this. So, i am not afraid of any of yall. And you centered us. You center dot and i thank you for that. Because, we have been in the margins for so long. And you used your platform to say, this is the starting point. I understand all of it. So im going to give yall some receipts. Young of the she is. But i want to sell the ground with some receipts. 37 years public servant. Congressional black caucus. Ranking member of the financial services. Sometimes we have to put receipts on the table. Ublic advocate, my neighbor she said we do not need that. But we need receipts. She did not just get here. Right . What she did in california, statewide abuse prevention training program. The prohibition of police strip searches for nonviolent misdemeanors. Let me give you more. Recently, the subcommittee of housing and community opportunity. Congresswoman waters has led it legislation efforts to mitigate foreclosures and keep American Families in their homes. This is critical stuff. This is our children, our homes, our families. Week, the idea of expanding access to health care is another one of aunties hierarchies. Under her continuing leadership, it has increased from the initial appropriation of 156 million two 400 million today. Time. , it is your give it up. Look at this room. My god, yall. I just want to say one thing. Make sure we set the record straight. The media loves to lie. The first person we worked to get here to this conference was Maxine Waters. We called her and we asked her whether we were allowed to grace you all with the name, reclaiming our time. And she agreed that was the right title for this conference. While i like my brother Bernie Sanders a lot, he was not the headline. Knew. For the womens convention. You are looking at the keynote and the headliner for our convention. Congresswoman Maxine Waters. Wow. Look at you. Wow. Look at you. Strong . Are you feeling confident . Letsu feeling powerful . Send a message to those who tried and divide us. You just go to hell. We are together. I am so honored to be here with you. I knew this was going to be a great success. I knew that women were going to come from everywhere. I know that we are supportive of each other and i know that we are going to send a great message from here. Give a yourselves around of applause. Let me give a few thanks. I want to think michele angela davis for that warm introduction and presenting me with this award. To the cofounders of the womens , tamika dention mallory, carmen perez, and others. I want to thank you for this distinct honor and for bringing us together to discuss the issues and concerns of women in this country. Ladies and gentlemen, it is important that we say thank you and give recognition to those want to spend their time understanding and knowing that we are powerful and strong if we come together. They work at it. They make it happen. Give them a big round of applause. We have got to acknowledge the. Omens march Board Members give them a round of applause. There are some women in the audience i know you have heard from utc from time to time on television. I do not know if you really understand how hard they work. Andwhat they do every day what we are up against. And how they stand up as they pushed back and resist. I want you to give senator debbie stevan on a big round of and then, there is congresswoman Brenda Lawrence. Brenda is a powerful member of congress. I love her. I love her voice. She does not take anything off of anybody. Thank you, Brenda Lawrence. Give her a big round of applause. And, you heard from congresswoman debbie dingell. She is of powerful voice. You see her on television speaking truth to power. She, too, stand up when nobody is looking and tells it like it is. If her a big round of applause. You know, there is a member of congress who has been supportive of women for many, many years. Confident, but he has impeccable integrity on all of our issues. Give john conyers a big round of applause. So, ladies and gentlemen, you have these members of congress who are working hard every day under some difficult circumstances. But i cannot tell you how thrilled i am to be here in detroit, michigan to once again tell the world that the women in this country are reclaiming our time. We are reclaiming our time. I want you to know how thrilled i was to participate in the january womens march. It was not a protest. It was a movement. It was founded for women and by women from all walks of life, who are concerned with the future and direction of this country. And ied and i talked laughed and i cried and i saw those pussycat and i went crazy it was wonderful. That january march sent a message around the world. We are reclaiming our time. Today, i am so glad you are here but we are speaking to women who are single mothers, who work multiple jobs and make multiple laid multiple wage or less, weapon taking advantage are suffering from illnesses and diseases that are worried about the future of health care. Women who have been disrespected in the board room or field or felt that there, was not appreciated or valued. Today, because her once again to discuss the issues and organize a plan of action to continue our resistance. I think the cofounders of the womens march for inviting me here to share what i believe are most pressing and immediate concerns. Time to focus on something that i think we need to focus on right now. Fortuitous that we are gathered this afternoon, in detroit, as we continue to recognize a Record Number of women who are coming forward to reveal disturbing and grotesque acts of Sexual Harassment, a cell, rape, often times at the hands of men who believed they were too rich and too powerful to be confronted or held accountable. We have learned that it is not only a hollywood actress or entertainers who have been targeted and assaulted by perverted and disgusting people. It is also members of congress, s and otherleague politicians, teachers, nurses, women in the military and others who may have lived in shame or have now come forward with their own me too stories and are exposed as how prevalent rape culture is in our society. In addition to all of the issues women are fighting for, such as paid pay for equal work, maternity leave, quality and Affordable Health care into a plaque says to opportunity. At the top of our agenda, at this agenda, there must be in effort to strengthen womens coverage and inspire them. This Convention Must be designed as a declaration that women are unified and support one another in this bright in this fight. Let the world go forward this day that the women at this convention and across the country have had enough. Enough is enough. We are not going to take it, anymore. Enough. S we are waiting we are waging our own war against rape and Sexual Harassment. You are waging a war against the pervert who believes that we can be misused or exploited in the interest of a job or recognition or even love. We do we clear are not taking it anymore. Declare we will not tolerate, ignore, or be part of a culture that turns a blind eye to Sexual Harassment and violence. We do not care who you are, how much money you have, how powerful you are or how you think you are powerful. Keep your nasty comments away from us. Keep your tricks. Keep your tricks and allies to yourself. And, keep your hands off our backs and our bodies. We are not going to take it anymore. Ladies and gentlemen. By now, every woman in this room should understand the cost of silence. Take a look at who we now have in the white house. Trump is the most dishonorable and despicable human being to ever serve in the office of the presidency. His declaration of being able to grab women by their private parts for his own history with Sexual Assault violations and disrespect of women is the mentality that sends a message to many and young boys out there that if the president of the United States can get away with this president has no respect for women. You saw him point to his republican primary opponent, and say, look at that face. Would anyone vote for that . Can you imagine that, the face of our next president . I was there in missouri at the heard debate, when he stopped hillary killington Hillary Clinton in an effort to intimidate her. To her talk about her experiences during that campaign. She said she wanted to turn around and look at him and say creep, get off my back. The reason she had not done it was because the consultants and political handlers tell women that we cannot say certain things, we cannot do certain things. We have to stop taking that advice. Who you know how you feel. And you know when you have been violated. You know when you have been mistreated. You understand how you have been misused. When anybody does that to you and any of these men try to intimidate you and put you in your place, remember what hillary should have said, creep, get off my back. And do not forget how he taunted senator Elizabeth Warren, saying she has a nasty mouth and gave her a racist nickname. He attacked mika brzezinski, saying she had a low iq. Formerd to discredit National Secretary advisor, susan price. And attacked jemele hill after she told the truth. He has continued to attack my colleagues and friends, calling herson wacky in an attempt to distract us from the fact that he has no respect for military families. When his chief of staff, john , who, a fourstar general was supposed to be so highly aspected, who had had brilliant clear, blatantly lied on congresswoman wilson and attacked her credibility. Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is number 45. This is the president of the United States. This is a man with no good values. No good intentions. He has no respect. That is why i know we have to keep fighting and that women must lead this resistance. Risk, we cannot afford to be shutdown or to be shut up by any man. Particularly not one as indecent and deplorable as donald trump. Every day that he is in the white house is an affront to all of our nations most sacred values. This is a president who has insulted a grieving widow and even a gold star soldier. This is a president who mocked a disabled reporter. This is the president who was slow to condemn the white supremacists, the kkk, the not easy and all right. Players, alled the nfl who peacefully protested during their games, sons of ditches. Who should be fired, he said. This is a president who obstructed justice before our eyes. President whois a stood with the russians to undermine our democracy. This is a president who can call everybody a name except in and this is a president pulled told us, before he was elected, that he was going to lift the sanctions for russia. This is the president who is not only colluding with putin, but the president who understands not only what he is doing for russia, but what tillerson is doing, who is supposed to be his secretary of state. Aligned because they want to lift the sanctions to drill for oil in the arctic here it is all about money. Follow the dollars and you will understand what they are doing. They do not care about you. They do not care about me. They do not care about america. They do not care about our democracy. It is about the dollar. It is about the money. So, i understand there may be some indictments coming in the we do not know exactly who it is, but, it ought to be manafort and the auto be the others of them that are allied around oil and support for russia. Guess what. Fornt to thank you all being the patrons that you are the patriots that you are. You believe im deaf in this country that you are willing to stand up and fight for democracy. Fight for the right for everybody to participate and be treated equally. Those, on the other side of the aisle, who claim to be patriots, who claim they waved their flag higher the immediate are not patriots. They are willing to sit back. They have no guts. They are afraid of this president and, instead of standing up and accept responsibility, they are sitting back because they are afraid they will not be reelected. They should not be reelected. And so, keep up the resistance. Provide leadership. Take our rightful places in this country. Exercise, influence, let them know we are not going anywhere and we are not afraid of them. This is our country and we intend to make it the democracy that airports to be. If we want to do it right, if we want to send that message, if we want to show them our strength, join with me.
