I said im going to quit my job. I found there were so many other people who wanted to do the same thing. People come on vacation and get away from the live for they are just doing something they dont want to do and say i would love to quit my job and moved to key west. I had a friend of the same mindset. We were having beers and French Onion Soup for breakfast and said lets quit our jobs and moved to key west. The island either says this is the place for you or you are not welcome here anymore, time to go. Key west has something to offer everybody but if you dont go out there and explore and step outside of your comfort there is a chance you will find things you find anywhere in life for you say it is too expensive, there is not enough people that have the same interests i do. The people who embrace the ones whohey are the end up staying. The island pays them back tenfold. There are different ways people make livings here. Industry. He tourist people love coming down to be a bartender. There the hotels, bed and brecht this. Bed and breakfasts it is not all hospitality and tourism. There are other industries here. We dont have a lot of production apart from our seafood. You do have people with the online businesses nowadays who work from home. There are a lot of people who travel. It has become easier to get here. Desirablea keys is a location. The main thing to consider is housing. That is something that keeps going up. The other items, they say food will be more expensive. It is not all that much more expensive. What people can consider if you like key west, you dont have to have a car. Cut out your car payment and gasoline expense. A lot of people get around on foot or travel by bicycle. You have some people with scooters. There are places you can cut costs. It is a different lifestyle. Its interesting being a writer. You can either do a lot of writing or a lot of drinking. That seems to be what a lot of writers are famous for. You have to have the discipline to do it. There is a lot of material. I dont think anybody can honestly claim to have writers log here. I have seen people who write tv shows. Some of the biggest shows in germany, he would come to key west to write because he would sit and observe people and see strange characters and unique characters, the characters on these shows. Key west has a big literary scene. A lot of that we can thank to arm and assuming way two on assuming way ernest hemingway. He didnt intend to stay but he fell in love. First the artist and the writers come in, then there are people that really appeal to them. Any have people who follow that. When the community is told with artists and writers other peoples day that is the town for us. That is what has happened to key west. It goes through that process. It is almost like you have a secret. Eventually the whole world knows. Its great because now that we are on the map it brings in a lot of those people. Different creative types. The arts organizations have grown. We have the studios of key west which bring in arts of all different kinds. For the number of people here the opportunities are incredible. The main thing i want people to get out of reading my book, i want them to know it is ok to follow your dreams. They dont have to quit their job and moved to key west. Ricacan go travel in costa. There are so many possibilities. The book is presented in a lighthearted way. It is a complete guide. This gives a good feel. It is a book people can sit down on the beach and read it and escape in their heads, and imagine the things. Once you imagine the possibilities it makes easier to implement.
