Crystal Mountain to open luxurious tent retreat for large gatherings near Mt. Rainier this summer

With warm, sunny days on the horizon and the vaccine effort underway in the Evergreen State, many are itching to get out of their houses and back to traveling. Luckily, Washington residents looking for a glamping getaway in the mountains don't have to trek too far for a unique experience.
Crystal Mountain Ski Resort launched its new Crystal Sky Camp this week, a collaboration with outdoor hospitality group Under Canvas set to officially open this summer.
Accessible only by chair lift, the new camp sits at 6,000 feet elevation at Campbell Basin with extraordinary views of Mount Rainier. The camp will feature 20 safari-inspired canvas tents, all equipped with luxurious amenities like king-size beds, high speed WiFi and even a wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood.
