CID arrests four Bangladeshi youths at different places in Dhaka on Saturday on charge of laundering crores of Taka abroad through live streaming apps like Bigo Live and Likee. – New Age photo
Criminal Investigation Department of police arrested five people, including a foreign national, from different areas of Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka on Saturday on the charge of laundering crores of Taka to foreign countries through live streaming apps like Bigo Live and Likee.
The arrested Bangladeshis are Mostafa Saif Reza, 26, Arif Hossain, 27, SM Nazmul Haque, 27, and Asmaul Husna Sejuti, 28.
CID, however, did not disclose the details of the foreign national.
