Eric Bubna will be the new high school principal at Albany Area Schools.
Bubna resigned after seven years as Crookston High School principal; the Crookston School Board scheduled a special meeting Monday morning to accept Bubna’s resignation, according to the Crookston Times. Bubna will finish out the 2020-21 school year at Crookston High School.
Bubna will replace Tim Wege, who is retiring after 19 years as Albany High School's prinicipal and serving in the school district since 1989. The Albany school board approved his resignation at its Jan. 6 meeting, effective June 30.
Bubna and his wife, Kaia, a kindergarten teacher until the conclusion of the 2019-20 school year, and their children will be moving closer to family in the Twin Cities.
