Croatia wants to join the Med7 group, Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman said during a visit to Cyprus on Thursday, Hina reported. MED7 is an alliance of the Mediterranean EU countries, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal and Spain.
During a meeting with his counterpart Nikos Christodoulides, Grlić Radman said that Croatia wanted to join and participate in the dialogue of the Mediterranean countries.
The visit to Cyprus was the first by a Croatian foreign minister in 12 years and Radman thanked Cyprus for its support during the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Sisak-Moslavina county in late December, stating this gesture of solidarity was a “true sign of friendship” between the two countries.
