Croatia Osiguranje's cons net profit down 3.4% in 2020

ZAGREB (Croatia), March 3 (SeeNews) - Croatia Osiguranje [ZSE:CROS], the largest insurer in the Adriatic country, said its consolidated net profit fell 3.4% year-on-year to 327.9 million kuna ($52.3 million/43.3 million euro) in 2020.
Consolidated gross written premiums declined 2% on the year to 3.2 billion kuna in 2020, Croatia Osiguranje said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse last week.
Life insurance premiums decreased 14.7% year-on-year to 551.1 million kuna in 2020, while non-life insurance premiums edged up 1.1% to 2.7 billion kuna.
Revenue from investment fell by 6.9% to 487.7 million kuna in 2020.
The insurer is controlled by local diversified group Adris Grupa.
