Critics slam N.S. Labour Department over lack of Donkin coal mine inspections

Nova Scotia's Labour Department says it has three dedicated inspectors who are capable of properly regulating the underground mine, but outside expertise was needed this summer to look into roof falls in the world's only subsea coal mine.
