Jamieson played his first IPL game on Friday.
Kiwi Kyle Jamieson's Indian Premier League career has begun with an upset, after Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore stunned defending champions Mumbai Indians by two wickets on Friday.
The breakout Blackcaps paceman - who was picked up at auction for a whopping $2.86 million - returned solid figures of 1/27 through his four overs, including the crucial scalp of red-hot Aussie Chris Lynn.
Jamieson was less impressive with the bat, run out for just four runs off four balls.
But perhaps the most memorable moment from the 26-year-old's first outing was the textbook yorker that completely snapped Krunul Pandya's bat, as the Indian batsman dug it out of the blockhole on a free hit delivery.
