Syracuse, N.Y. — A broken water main has shut down a busy street near downtown Syracuse.
Crews are working to fix a water main break in the 200 block of West Fayette Street, city officials said Tuesday morning. West Fayette Street has been blocked off between South Clinton Street and South Franklin Street to give crews space to make repairs.
Water outages are expected to end around 5 p.m. The city advised anyone in the 200 block of West Fayette Street who needs an emergency water supply to call 211.
