His artwork is seen by tens of thousands across in Canada but his name is mostly unknown. Christopher Wallis, the stained glass artist who created 20 stained glass windows for Lambton County, has died. He was 90.
Eighteen of Wallis’ Lambton windows are in Petrolia – 13 at Christ Church Anglican, two at Victoria Hall, and two at the now closed VanTuyl and Fairbank Solarware. As well, the Anglican churches in Grand Bend and Forest both have a stained glass window made by Wallis.
