A nonprofit that provides day care services for adults who need supervision has been a lifeline to Greenville area families with nowhere else to turn during the pandemic.
The Creative Living Center cares for adults who have cognitive impairments and other disabilities while their family members work, run errands or just take a needed break, staff and clients said.
âI thank God for them,â said Latonya Ward, who brings her 84-year-old grandmother, Mercie Suggs, daily to the facility at Victory Christian Assembly, 4748 Stantonsburg Road.
âI could go on and on and on,â she said. âI bring her every day they are open. It is a big break for me.
