BOSTON - The Bruins looked like a team with its eyes on the playoff. The Sabres looked like a squad eager for the offseason. The result was predictable.
Craig Smith lodged a hat trick and Boston controlled the game from start to finish and bulldozed their last-place 6-2, Saturday at TD Garden.
