CPI questions Assam Government for allotting 300 bighas to a family
Violating the Ceiling Act, land patta for 300 bighas of Mikir Bamuni Grant Land was allotted to a family from the village by the Government.

GUWAHATI: "Violating the Ceiling Act, land patta for 300
bighas of Mikir Bamuni Grant Land was allotted to a family from the village by the Government. The family later sold the land to Delhi-based Azuri Power Forty Private Company Limited (APFPCL)
. Allotting 300
bighas to a family is a sheer violation of the Act," lamented Communist Party of India (CPI), Nagaon district secretary Ratul Bora while addressing the media.
