Nearby Rouyn-Noranda is once again a hotspot with an alarming 71 active cases as of today.

COVID surge surrounds Timiskaming Back to video
The entire Quebec district of Abitibi-Temiscamingue is in the red zone, with 147 active cases over all including 13 in the Temiscamingue region. There are almost as many active cases today as the total number of resolved (167) since the pandemic began last spring.
