COVID protester defends federal lawsuit against multiple motions to dismiss

A High Point woman used court filings this week to defend her federal lawsuit challenging her arrest during a 2020 protest of Gov. Roy Cooper’s COVID-related shutdown orders. Monica Ussery's lawyers filed three separate documents Wednesday in US District Court. Ussery responded to multiple motions to dismiss her case.
