COVID levels peaked on Christmas in Eureka, wastewater testing shows

Since October, an increased amount of coronavirus has been detected at the Elk River wastewater treatment plant in Eureka. The highest concentration was measured on Christmas day, and since then has returned to elevated October levels in the first weeks of the new year.
