Covid disruption spurs first time stallholders at annual market

They were among first time stall holders at the annual Richmond Market Day, where there were double the number of new stalls compared to previous years.
Visitors to a market – touted as the biggest in the top of the south – were treated to an array of new handmade offerings this year, with Covid-19 driving some extra produce.
About 20 newcomers were among the 120 or so stalls at the annual Richmond Market Day on Wednesday, about double the number of previous years.
