Covid concerns force four games to be cancelled in European rugby competitions

Covid-19 outbreaks and uncertainty forced the cancellation of four matches in two European premier rugby union competitions.
London Irish had to pull out of their scheduled English Rugby Premiership match against Bath due to a small number of positive tests by players.
“We were really looking forward to going to The Rec on Boxing Day, so we’re incredibly disappointed that we’re unable to fulfil the fixture,'' London Irish director of rugby Declan Kidney said.
