COVID and crime: Northampton bank robbery suspect wore N-95 mask, police say

NORTHAMPTON — Bank robbers often wear masks to conceal their identity, but in the era of COVID-19 they may do so more for their own safety.
David Jones Jr., 38, of Charlemont, was arrested this week after allegedly stealing more than $12,000 from the People’s United Bank on King Street in Northampton.
