COVID-19 vaccine shipped to Tuscarawas County Health Department

But health officials are urging the general public to be patient.
"There is great interest in being vaccinated," said Jennifer Demuth, director of health promotion & community relations for the health department. "The current supply is very limited, and we need to follow the prioritization list."
The first group to receive the vaccine will be emergency room physicians who are not receiving vaccines from a healthcare system.
"We are so thankful that people have shown an interest, but we ask that they not call us for the vaccine," Demuth said. "We will notify groups when they are eligible to receive it."
