At an average of over 3.5 million a day over the past week, India’s vaccination rollout is among the highest in the world. However, given the large population, it’s not enough to make a dent in the pandemic.
India’s total vaccinations crossed 100 million on Saturday as new Covid-19 cases rose at a record rate. Total active cases breached 1 million again with over 152,000 new ones on Saturday.
