Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced there was one new local case overnight with five cases in overseas hotel quarantine.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the "good news" in her daily press conference and urged people to continue come out for testing and to get vaccinated.
The new case is a woman who is close contact of a gentleman from Cinnamon Park who travelled to Eumundi.
