GENESEO â The number of active COVID-19 cases tumbled over the past weekend in Livingston and Wyoming counties.
The two counties reported a total of 108 active cases as of Monday afternoon. Thatâs 51 fewer cases compared to Friday.
Updated statistics from Genesee and Orleans counties werenât available. The two counties are now sending elecronic updates on Tuesdays and Fridays only.

Genesee County on Friday had a total of 5,161 cases since the pandemic arrived in the region in March 2020. A total of 69 cases were active as of Friday, with five people hospitalized.
New York state continues to report a total of 122 COVID-19-related deaths in Genesee County â an increase of one.
