The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District on Thursday reported three COVID-19-linked deaths, 11 new cases and 12 recoveries.
With the latest deaths — a woman in her 80s, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s – 407 county deaths have been connected to the coronavirus.
Of the 11 new cases, one was confirmed via a polymerase chain reaction test.
Active cases total 215 (110 PCR cases and 105 cases confirmed with antigen tests). A week ago, active cases numbered 229.
COVID-19 inpatients at Abilene hospitals total 12, which is one more than reported Wednesday. The average age of the inpatients is 60, and eight live outside Taylor County.
